Superbowl isn't the most, it is the world cup baby! Woo!Julianking93 said:I've completely forgotten about the existence of what is considered the most important sports event of the year.
they can win if they play clean and keep farve downSaphatorael said:Chargers: they've won 11 in a row going into the play-offs. They're doing what the Eagles couldn't do in the NFC: playing consistently good and securing the first-round bye.
Only thing that could stop them are of course the Colts.
As for the NFC... Cowboys seem overrated. They were pretty much an anti-Eagles team (yes, I'm an Eagles fan ;_, but they're carrying false momentum. Their last few victories were against a Saints team that lost its momentum going into the final weeks, the worthless Redskins (they really need to fix... well, everything, dammit), and against their rivals, who they were tailored for as soon as the season had started.
Cowboys will only beat the Vikings if Adrian Peterson can't establish his running game. Brett Favre will be a minor factor in the next match.
Cardinals played great, but exhaustion might get them. The Packers game was amazing, but it's a short week as well for the next round, and they're playing at New Orleans.
I'd say the NFC side is still wide open, but I'm expecting the Vikings to reach the Super Bowl, where they'll lose to the Chargers.
tl;dr Chargers beat Vikings, but it'll be a close, high-scoring game. I hope.
Ehm, you could say that about pretty much every team right now. Don't get too many penalties called against you and shut down the QB? This is why the Eagles lost. The defenses all know by now how important the QB has become for loads of teams, hence QB-reliant teams have been struggling lately against the teams who could adapt properly. The Eagles have always had a blitz-happy defense, which is why they're pretty good in forcing turnovers, they just lacked a good center to create a proper pocket, Cowboys have Demarcus Ware to pressure the QB like mad. The Saints won't be able to beat the Cowboys again, so if Dallas wins this one, they're in the Super Bowl. But they won't beat the Chargers, at any rate.NOT WILL said:they can win if they play clean and keep farve downSaphatorael said:Chargers: they've won 11 in a row going into the play-offs.
