Poll: Super Smash Bros: Brawl, Most Overpowered Characters

ike is slow and easily combo'd I can't see how you guys think he's overpowered. The only thing that he has going really is that his jab is pretty good.

He also has a very powerful Counter move.

I would say Ike or Ganondorf, but then again I've never played as them due to the fact I like faster characters. I also don't play online much on account of the fact that my arse would be handed to me on a plate with a side order of chips.

For those people who think Ike is overpowered: I think you've forgotten that offline, Brawl doesn't actually lag. :0

And those who think Sonic is overpowered should stop using items already.

Meta Knight, on the other hand, is the only character in Brawl who more than 3 people on the Interwebs have decided is overpowered.

Ike kills with barely a smash attack, let alone final smashes. I should know, he is my second favorite character next to Roy (who is 1st) and Snake (who is 3rd). Doesn't really matter to me though. I play and like Melee much much more. But for cheapest and overpowered in the next Smash Bros., I'd say any Castlevania character that has a chance to get in.

But... but... Roy isn't in Brawl! Ohmygod help me.

Anyway, my vote goes to Captain Falcon. Very fast and very powerful. He's often banned amongst my friends who own the game.

I guess you and your friends aren't incredibly serious at SSBB, but Captain Falcon is (unfortunately) pretty bad. Mainly because A: his moves are slow and B: He lacks range / a projectile attack.

Overpowered is one of my most hated words. None of the characters are over powered. If you think so, you probably just suck at the game. If you say sonic, he's fast but his moves are terrible and his final smash is easy to dodge, he has no kill moves also.

Everything is balanced! Each one of twenty million characters with their own separate moves and specials is exactly and precisely balanced to within a hair's breadth of each-other, and anyone who says that any of the characters is marginally better than another one is just a big sook who is bad at the game and can't beat me when I play Ike because I pwn so much. Why would they put it in the game if it weren't balanced?

I wouldn't use the word overpowered, but the one that can get the easiest kill is Ike.
I just use him when my friend decided he's going to spam every match.

I think Metaknight is. Then again I don't play Brawl a lot, it's not great. The item inbalance is worse - the Final Smash is just silly as is the Dragoon and Spicy Curry.

ike, but it's not a bad thing. it's compensated by the fact that he is very slow. and he's my favourite character so yeah.
