I'd have to agree with you there, vampirism would only be cool on the grounds of suave Count Dracula, human-killing vampirism, not the mangling of vampire lore that is Twilight.

Would you care to explain what Lycanthropy is? I would look it up but I don't have time as I'm in school and the period's about to end and I'm too lazy. And if I became a zombie wouldn't I not be aware of it, being dead (or atleast brain dead) so it wouldn't really matter. And I have formally declared vampires gay thanks to that Twilight thing (that's what it's about right?) so I guess I'm not afraid of anything.

Technically, you're correct about the hairy palms. There was some slight discrepancy within Bram Stoker's "Dracula", where he described the vampire as having hairy palms, but if you look at werewolf lore it's the wolves that have the hairy palms, not the vampires.

I didn't need it confirming, I know lycanthropy is werewolves. The hairy palms bit was a wanking joke!

Werewolf could be sweet, unless it's complete loss of control during change. I'd hate to wake up one morning, my girlfriend ripped to pieces beside me.
Vampire has it's ups and downs. Supernatural strenght, reflexes, the works... All cool. But imortality... No, that would be a horrible curse.

Still, it'd be better than being a zombie, mindlessly shuffling about, being one amongst the numbers... I don't know. It's just the thought...

I'm gonna deviate from the OP's plan here and explain my reasons as to why I'd like to become a zombie.

One: Zombies are part of a caste system, basically, a corporate work ladder. Zombies are at the bottom, surpassed by ghosts and reanimated skeletons.

Two: Like any corporate work ladder, there's room for advancement. Therefore, if I was to become a drooling, groaning, mumbling lump of mad flesh, I would eventually rise through the ranks of the undead, provided I did my zombie tasks well, and stayed the hell away from anyone who works at S-Mart.

Three: Lich/Undead Necromancer, baby! At that rank, vampires would be my bitches.

But to answer the OP's question, being a zombie would be the worst seeing it's the only one that turns you into a mindless reanimated corpse. 'You' are dead.

Come to think of it, pretty much everyone has said zombies, it's like asking 'would you like to have cool superpowers or be braindead?'
