I'd do something like kinetic manipulation. You know, like a force ability, forgive the star wars reference, only more open to screwing around with new ways to use it.

Like the ability to make a building detonate by converting all of its matter to energy. (e=mc 2)

Wouldn't that explosion at least wipe out a whole country or maybe even blow up the whole planet?

It's a possibility.
But if you can control energy and matter, you could contain it.

Definitely, but since we're using ridiculous superpowers anyway, by which I mean overpowered:
Other-Shenanigans-The ability to "Turn Light Into Bees". The insect, not the letter.

...What? That's not a bizarre ability at all! I could get a normal/better power, but honestly if I had any useful power I'd be forced to either fight crime, become crime, or rule the world; all of which take far too much effort. Something like "Turning Light Into Bees" would never get me dragged into a fight, could be put to "some" use, would make everyone underestimate me, and would be great for almost everything. Just think about it, it's got limitless potential (obviously not as limitless as reality and motion control, but those are cheating).

My guy controls all matter, can bend reality to his will, its the oldest thing in the Universe, he can control peoples minds and read them, he can alter memories from living creatures, he has at least eaten up an entire Universe, he can travel through time and space, he can see everything in the Universe, most brilliant mind in the universe, can destroy everything he sees, he is what keeps the Universe together and ironicly will eat this Universe to create the next one, he can ressurect people entire planets and galaxies, he is more powerfull than God.

I'd have the power of Super-Dooper Healing.

Not only would I be able top heal people, animals and plants, thus making the world a better place, but I'd also use it as a passive super power on myself, constantly healing my body the very nanosecond any injury occurred, effectively making myself invulnerable and allowing me to use my body's full physical potential.

Super Speed man. Awesome. You don't even need Super Strength if you have Super Speed. In the time it would take someone with Super Strength to hit me in the face, I already cracked them a hundred times in the face with a bat.

I want 1 of these 2 powers. I want to be able to turn my whole body, including my clothes, in Electricity or Fire. If anyone here ever watched the anime series One Piece, you know what I mean. Seriously, nothing beats a man made of fire! Except Ice... and water I guess, since it's the same!

I like super speed/agility either that or psychic, because of its durability. I know most people go flying! but I honestly prefer the whole thrill of parkour and then going much faster and higher. ^_^

i came up with the ability to manipulate and transfer forces.

-i remove the strong nuclear force of the atoms of something / someone, and turn them into pure hydrogen.
-i transfer the energy from a foe's punch into the back of their head.
-i dispel gravity and float.
-i raise gravity, and stop people from moving properly.

it's probably psychic. i suppose it might also be physical though.

Me and my friends have had this discussion before, Force fields would be best followed by Gravity Control in a superpower world.

If you were to be the only one with powers however Psychic abilities would be best giving you more bang for your buck.
