Also, if anyone has any questions about the game at all, I'm absolutely willing and able to answer them.
Actually, according to an above poster, The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai is apparently already on XBLA.Samuel_of_Saruan said:You mentioned XBL release. This will be when?
That's a shame. My pc just crashed, and I don't have any access to it. Seems that this gem will go past me.Akai Shizuku said:Actually, according to an above poster, The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai is apparently already on XBLA.
SCZ, however, will remain free to download on your computer.
Aw, that sucks. Any chance of getting your PC fixed? Also, if you end up getting a new one with Vista on it, SCZ now has a fix to make it work on Vista.Samuel_of_Saruan said:That's a shame. Entirely singleplayer. Multi would be awesome though.TsunamiWombat said:Wait, is this singleplayer or multiplayer?
Also i'll get into it once I finish with my other stuff.
There's a download link at the end of the review. Just run the .exe install program and bingo.JoshasorousRex said:I don't know how to actually get this game can I get some help with it?
I ran it and it says: "Some files could not be created. Please close all applications and restart windows" which I did. Is there any help you can give me?Akai Shizuku said:There's a download link at the end of the review. You're using Vista, I assume? You'll have to download the Vistafix for it, which you'll probably have to Google.JoshasorousRex said:I ran it and it says: "Some files could not be created. Edit: "Reboot Windows and restart this install" is what it says my bad

No problem. For some reason the poll is getting raped with "not interested" votes, probably 'cause of all the Halo fanboys who can't handle graphics from freaking next decade.JoshasorousRex said:Alright thanks man.Akai Shizuku said:You're using Vista, I assume? Thanks, I will check those out.lleihsad said:I've had this game for a while (almost since it's release). Considering how "indie" it is, it's a really good zombie game. Totally Screwed Software (the fellows who made it) are also responsible for several other games, mostly knockoffs of classics like River City Ransom.
Check them out.
EDIT: Totally Screwed Software is the name Ska Studios used to go under. They made their earlier games under that name.
Thanks a lot for that, I'll put it in to make things easier.Yuzzi said:Here's how to get SCZ working on Vista.
1. You need to download the following 3 files:
dx7vb.dll [http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/D/dx7vb.dll/5.03.2600.2180/download.html]
dx8vb.dll [http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/D/dx8vb.dll/5.03.2600.2180/download.html]
and
d3drm.dll [http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/D/d3drm.dll/5.1.2600.0/download.html]
32-bit Vista: Then, put those files to the system32 folder.
64-bit Vista: Then, put those files to the syswow64 folder.
Then go to the start menu, open the command prompt (will not necessarily be called that, try to figure out what it's called in your language if your Vista's not in English). You need to be the administrator, or at least run the program as the administrator.
Then, type the following.
cd c:\windows\system32 (If you're using 64-bit vista, replace system32 with syswow64)
(assuming windows is on your C: drive)
regsvr32 dx7vb.dll
regsvr32 dx8vb.dll
Then type exit, and press enter. That's it!
