Unlikely: IF it is truly great, it will sweep the world, every nation will adopt it as a standard issue weapon (in which case I'll eat my words).
While the MP5 had a long history and a reliable test-and-true status.
You can bring up a futuristic weapon that is almost perfect in every way, compare it with the Mp5, and still realize just how well designed the MP5 was. It might not be radically great at some fields (like the firing rate for the P90) or eye pleasing, it is something that you can trust your life with in dangerous situations.
No M240? It's pretty cumbersome, but great for mowing down the masses.

*Sigh* Why do people insist on making these "better" threads? Better in what? You listed completely different guns there, with completely different purposes, abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. Try asking, "Which is the better sniper?", or "Which is the better assault rifle?"

These guns are not even in the same class, you cannot accurately compare them.

If it was, I'd pick the P90. It's so comfortable, and I love the sights. Adaptable and lightweight too, and 200m effective range is fucking awesome for its design.
Second comes the FAMAS. Feels like I can depend on it when I hold it.
The MP5A5 I don't like. Never liked any of the MP5's.
Now... you're comparing SMG's, assault rifles, light machine guns and sharpshooter rifles, so it's impossible to pick one. But as it is not in real life, I'd pick the versatile FAMAS. As far as voting goes though, you can never go wrong with the Avtomat Kalashnikova obraztsa 1947 goda. ^^
I'm most used to the Ak 5 and Ksp 58, as that's what we use in the Swedish armed forces. The Ak 5 is a lovely assault rifle, and practically as dependable as the -47. The Ak 5C is a thing of wonder, if one uses metal magazines. God I love it. *s*
Anyway, it seems I could talk forever, so I'll shut up now.

Right then because everyone has asked for more guns as options i am going to make another one with even more guns then all of you have mentioned but its going to take a while so if anyone has anyother requests you should put them in soon. Ill make the final version and finish within a week.
I love the AK-47! It's a lot cheaper to manifacture than all of the other choices, it is extremely durable, it's sand, mud, blood and water-proof, it has a decent accuracy, it has a decent clip size, it uses standard and easy to find ammo, it has deadly firepower - 1 kilometer kill range. So fear the power of the Kalashnikov!
Not on the list: The VSS-K or the smaller brother, the VSS.
