I live in a horribly land-locked area, but when I hear about a place that is fairly reliable, I'll usually go check it out. Locally, there is a roll called the Geisha that is tempura tuna with unagi across the top, that is some good stuff. Crystal Shrimp is my favorite though, doesn't matter which place I go.

Unfortunately, it would seem sushi and a bad gallbladder do not mix very well, so I've had to cut back quite a bit. Such a pity....

Edit: I agree wholeheartedly with the comment on Toro. $10us for two pieces is about the cheapest I've seen, but it's worth the price 99.9% of the time.

Meh, it's nice every once in a while for something different. But I don't go crazy for it.

It really depends on the individual sushi. While I haven't paid much attention to the ingredients, and generally do quite like it (not delicious, but quite good and very filling), I absolutely detest avocado. Naturally, it seems as though lots of sushi contains avocado.

Ohh yea, shrimp tempura is very good. Also the philedelphia rolls are good too, even though they are pretty basic (cream cheese, avacado, tuna).

I love raw fish a little too much for my own good; I have such a hard time not gobbling down a steak of tuna before I'm finished grilling it.

Where can you get a hold of sushi-grade fish?

I love it, my girlfriend and I make it a lot at the moment.

I don't care what's in it, as long as there is soy sauce and wasabi.

I hate the salty-ass taste of seaweed, so naturally I do not like Sushi, I just cant get past the seaweed. But I fucking love Chicken Teryaki!

=[ I can never get wasabi unless I smuggle it from the sushi bar in town. There is never anything at walmart that taste like actual good wasabi. What do you buy?

Oh I have no idea, I just hold the shopping trolley while my girlfriend picks things off the shelf =P All I know is that it is green, and spicy.

Overall, not a fan. Didn't eat fish even when I wasn't a vegetarian and most of the non-fish types of Sushi are not inside-out rolls and I don't like the taste of nori(seaweed). There's some types of Sushi (some avocado ones or some sweetened egg triangles I once had) are awesome, but it's too much of a Russian-roulette trying to figure out what's good and what'll taste like shit.
