no because it should be Bungie who shows his face like Bioware should show here face for already stated reasonsArehexes said:Should Microsoft show what Master Chief looks like? If anyone says no then you can't really explain why Tali's face should be shown.
Oh come now, the entire run of Columbo came and went without us ever finding out what his oft' mentioned wife looked like. And there are several other such little mysteries that we never found out even after the series ended.Ultratwinkie said:Its the END of the story, just end the mystery with it. There is NO reason to keep mystery going when the story is ending. Wrap up all loose ends, and move on. Not to mention Bioware shares EVERYTHING with the fanbase. To keep the player out of the loop of what Quarrians look like is a cop out because they didn't bother to think about Tali for longer than 5 seconds. Keep the integrity and keep the player in the loop in all things. All good RPGs do that.
That was fucking hilarious! Nice! I'm still laughing!Aleate said:"No Tali... I like it with the mask on."Goldjit said:Why not make it optional to the audience? Let them choose in game if they want to see her face or not.

...sorry I just had to.
OT: I think this is actually a really good idea. Let the player decide. Don't force it on them, let them decide if they want to see it or not. (Just not in the creepy way depicted above)
That is you making the assumption that your average human knows what a Turian looks like under their mask. Here's a pointer for you: They don't. Only the flotilla is considered sterile enough for them to take their masks off, anywhere else they'll have them on. So to most creatures in Citadel Space, what their face looks like is just as much of a mystery to them as it is to us.Ultratwinkie said:How many stories keep the player out of common knowledge? Players are to know what is normal for the people of the world to know. You don't throw the player in, and withhold information that the character or everyone else knows.Pedro The Hutt said:Oh come now, the entire run of Columbo came and went without us ever finding out what his oft' mentioned wife looked like. Heck, the Hithchiker's Guide to the Galaxy thrived on this. We never do find out what the question to the ultimate answer of life, the universe and everything is. And I prefer it that way. So yes, I would prefer it if Tali wouldn't reveal her face. And if they insist on doing so anyway, then at least let it be an optional cutscene. I don't want to be forced into finding out what she looks like. Or better yet, give us a button to put the camera behind her during the reveal.
