Tattoos are pretty hot on women but only when they are proper tattoos. No shitty little things picked out of the books.

There needs to be less dolphins and fairies on the waistband.
Them, "horny devils" and anything on the lower back or shoulder blade. Full sleeves FTW!

I must say, I really really don't like tattoos. What's the point of painting your body? Can't you like it the way it is?

I love tattoos, the right tattoo on the right person/part of the body is so sexy it's retarded. But anyways, that being said, I'm definitely going to get a tattoo, I just can't make up my mind. Though it is a bit sacrilegious to get a tattoo in Hebrew (considering people of the Jewish faith aren't supposed to have any...) that's what I've decided to get, fellow Escapists with your infinite wisdom, you should help me decide which of the two ideas to go with, and then locations.

First idea is (do remember that it will be in a nicer font, I'm just doing a screen cap because you can't type Hebrew on here)

So that's what it means, how you say it, then the actual Hebrew text (as translated by my Israeli friend) Oh and I was thinking I would get that on the left interior part of the bicep or left shoulder.

Then idea #2

The top part means, "He gives", the bottom means, "He takes"...as translated from English to Hebrew on google translate (of course I will talk to a Rabi or my Israeli friend again to make sure it's right) The positioning for these one be the top half on one side and the bottom on another side so that its parallel on either side of the body. So I was thinking the shoulders for this idea.

Please leave some suggestions/ideas/comments.

I think some tattoos are cool. But you gotta really think it through; a friend of mine wants a Shield with the Green Bay Packers logo across his entire back.

That's retarded... especially if you have that for the rest of your life. Alternatively I have some friends with some really awesome tattoos that he's designed himself.

There was a picture of Peaches Geldof modelling some underwear in the paper today, and she had this lovely daisy chain tattoo up her body. Usually too many tattoos on girls look bad, but I think she looked lovely.
I wasn't perving on her... I swear.

I will most likely get a few done. No sleeves though...
As a bioshock fan maybe something similar to these:
I would get those, and maybe something on my shoulders. I like to be symetrical, so it would be complicated. I would never do my entire body or face or anything like that.

Have various tattoos. 3/4 sleeve mixed style phoenix, werewolf, back tattoos, chest and ribs.

Unless a tattoo is something that is being done because its the 'cool' thing to do or some other such nonsense, they don't bother me. Though insulting tattoos (racist, sexist, general stupidity and insult) I find distasteful.

Also, Why butterflies? Always with the butterflies!
True. Perhaps they're all heavily into the chaos theory.

Have a cookie if you get it.
How could anyone not get that?

Tattoos are my single biggest turnoff---I'm of the mind that the body is a temple and continuing that metaphor, getting a tattoo is like spray painting graffiti on a religious structure.

I fall hard for purity (real or perceived) and a tattoo breaks that in my mind's eye. I tend to fixate on tattoos, which creates a feedback loop.

Note that this is a gender double-standard with me---dudes with tattoos (especially if the dude's got something badass, like that poster earlier who got "Survive" after beating the Big C) are held to a different standard (and mocked mercilessly if they've got something that sucks.) I personally have no desire to get a tattoo, but that's only because I prefer to tell my stories rather than show them (plus, I've got a MASSIVE needle phobia---I can't even watch an injection in a medical show without feeling queasy).
