Actually tea has about 1/2 to 1/3 the caffeine of a cup of coffee, or less depending on type and strength.

If you grind the beans your self and make espresso out of it the tea has only 1/4 of the caffeine...I think it was something like that.
EDIT: Found the list : In the average tea cup its 40mg of caffeine,In instant coffee its 54mg,The average coffee cup has 105mg but in some its 254mg.

I like both equally well but tend to drink more coffee. Tea has wound up being regulated to sick days or when it's really freaking cold and it's not in the morning. Morning is coffee time.

Caffeine does not agree with my nervous system, and coffee doesn't taste very good. I stick to herbal tea in massive amounts. Occasionally some black or green tea, but the caffeine problem still exists with those [albeit to a lesser degree].

Despite recently discovering the wonders of coffee, i'm gonna go with tea. Nothing like a nice cup of green tea and Black Ops on a rainy day.

I love both. Coffee is more an early morning drink though. I don't understand it when after a meal at 11:30 at night people ask for a fucking esspresso. What the hell is wrong with you? You're going to bed in half an hour, why are you drinking something that will keep you awake for 3 days?

I enjoy both Coffee and Tea(herbal) daily.

If I had to choose just one I'd probably go with Coffee, but I'd loathe having to make that decision.

A good cup of coffee (black/floral/nutty imo) and some good yogurt is amazing.

Coffee, but it has nothing to do with the caffeine. When I do drink tea, its sweet tea, which really doesn't count but whatever.

I'm English, and I prefer Coffee. I like my tea, but coffee tastes better and perks me up. It seems my countrymen mostly agree with me, given that we consume way more coffee than tea nowadays (cba to find the statistics, but it's true).

Love Earl Grey and English Breakfast, but it takes too long to make properly (strong enough I can't see the bottom of the cup). Coffee for me thanks.
How odd! My personal criteria for a good cup of earl grey is weak enough that I can see the bottom of the cup...
Yes... you're not alone, I think its a waste of money, you may as well boil the kettle, pour the water, then add some die - there's no flavour. Weak tea (or water, as some of us see it), is what nearly threw me off the stuff. Oh, and I dislike all non-black teas as well.

I have a friend who literally shows the water the teabag before throwing it away, and then puts like half a pint of milk in. Warm milky water? I don't get it.

I get around it taking a while by using a big old teapot :D First one might still be a little weak, but the rest are normally just right.

Tea for myself but it reminds me of a line referring to crew chiefs who worked VIP transport in the Marines

"Coffee, tea or me sir?"
