For some insane reason that I still can't justify, I never had Steam until about three weeks ago. After getting it though, my first real purchase was TF2 and I have 13 hours logged on it.

Oh god, the shame.

Well since I took frequent breaks from it I only have 40 hours so far. Now I play it much more so I should get more hours now. I got the game back in 08 so I guess my hours are kind of lacking.

More fun than tf2?
Yes. Although, I had to play the PS3 port of The Orange Box, so I know that I didn't get the full experience.

That's probably part of it, the updates really polished the game and keep it fresh and fun. Hell, did they even nerf the demo/soldier ammo on any console?

Within the first 2 weeks of L4D2s release I racked up 25 hours of versus. Valve games do this to people.

I just got the game, so only 7, mostly as a medic.
Good choice, everyone loves medics!

I recently started playing TF2 again and somehow I went up to around 200.

It's a great game and I love the free updates they had, which was really the only reason I got back into it after exams were over.

Took me a long time to unlock some of the new stuff (I'm still missing 2 Soldier weapons and of course, hats!), but Demoman with Chargin' Targe + Eyelander is quite fun. Puts a new spin on the class and gives me two different playstyles!
Do you think xbox is ever going to see those updates?

OT: Less than 20. The xbox version is fun, but not THAT fun...gotta get me steam >_>

I hope that is a rhetorical question, because I really wouldn't have any idea. I haven't checked up on it, because I didn't really enjoy the time I did play it. I had far more fun with Resistance, so I just went back to playing that. ^_^

From what I've heard, the reason the xbox hasn't gotten updates yet is because of Microsoft wanting to sell them, and since there are so many Valve is waiting until all the classes are finished so that they can release one big pack. This should hopefully be soon, since only 1 class remains.

Last part was intended for anyone on console, not just you specifically.

I've got like, 12
I love the game, but I'm terrible with PC shooters and valve can't program gamepad support worth shit so usually I play for like,20 minutes to an hour, then get frustrated and quit.

221 hours atm, most played class heavy.

Those time brackets are strange, 100+hours in tf2 is incredibly common, and why does it jump from 130 to 170? You are missing 40 hours.

No, it's still there, as is all the fun glitches that came with release.

OT: Steam says I'm at 315 hours and X-fire says I'm at 377 hours.

I'll be generous and say about 80 hours since I really don't know, playing it across two platforms and formatting my pc makes it difficult to keep track. I do enjoy the game but it's never gripped me the way a game with a good plot to follow and character development has. Not that I'm saying it'd be better if they cobbled together some nonsense plot to develop characters no one cares about the backstory of, just that I personally prefer games with a bit more substance and play TF2 when I just feel like sniping people off.

As long as your computer is better than
1.7 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, DirectX® 8.1 level Graphics Card (Requires support for SSE), Windows® Vista/XP/2000, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection
Then yes it is a wise investment, unless you hate fun.

My Steam page is messed up and it says that I only have 60, but I know that I have around 160. I seriously will go through phases where I will play nothing but Team Fortress 2 for days and then I won't play it for months.

In 3 days, my vote will be 92-122.
