Halo doesn't have the nicest of communities, especially Halo PC.
I think people are only nice(er) in person because they're within fist range*. Wankers online aren't generally anymore sincere in person, just more cowardly...

On topic: Plenty of annoying TK'rs, racists, idiots, campers and smacktalkers appear on my server. They get thrown to the voteban, it invariably devours them.

I was playing Halo 3 a while ago and I heard one of my teammates ask his friend if he wanted to play on his other profile. I asked him "You have more than one profile?" and he said he had four, so I asked him "Gold membership?" and he said yes again. I asked him why, because that just means he's wasting money on three extra profiles, and there is absolutely no point in having more than one. He simply responded "Because I can afford it". I then explained to him how he is just wasting money and we got into a long argument, so I finally decided to agree to disagree and said "Alright, I think that you're just wasting money, but if that's how you want to spend it, that's fine with me". He responded to that with "Yeah, and you can just spend all of your money on dildos!". What I find funny about that is that by the sound of his voice, he appeared to be significantly older than me, and I'm 14. That says a lot about his (lack of) maturity.

i have encountered an "annoying guy" on many occasions

the worst has to be on rainbow six vegas 2 me and two freinds with a random guy on realistic terrorist hunt on import/export(super complex map) me and freinds are working toghether and random guy goes off and gets killed and shouts down his mike(exact words)"mmmmhts buushet mmcking bmmshit!" later he gets killed again and askes up why we are so good and my freinds says"cause we aren't retarded" then he goes of on a rant on how we had better guns than him we were using ak's(pretty hard to obtain)and we explain how he needs to earn it instead of just having it and then he says that you earn them by being gay and the rest of the game was teamkilling him then a ban what fun killing that annoying guy
