With female, but gender/sex doesn't really matter much to me in a partner

Strength:1

Perception:2

Endurance:3

Charisma:6

Intelligence:7

Agility:1

Luck:8
You can't normally quantify luck nor can you train yourself to become luckier. An objectively lucky person would probably lead myself to fortunate circumstances as well. And, hey, if they're so lucky and they're with me that must mean I'm their ideal partner too right?
Intelligence and Charisma go hand in hand in making an interesting person. They would be both knowledgeable and have the verbal skills to articulate their knowledge. I want my for-life partner to be an interesting person to converse and interact with.

In modern society the other stats just don't seem as pertinent as the three I chose. We can compensate for lack of strength, health, athleticism, and perception with the aid of technology, but luck, intelligence, and good old charisma are hard to emulate.

Well darn. The picture isn't working. :/

Anyway, you are right, strength, endurance, and agility do overlap. However, they also govern their own domains.
As the explanations go over, someone with lots of strength but low endurance will be physically strong and capable of various task that call for physical effort, but they won't be able to endure such actions for long if they have low endurance.

Intelligence, perception, and charisma are also in a similar relationship to each other. Someone may be intelligent enough to know what to do in a specific social situation but if their charisma is to low they may not be successful, or if they have low perception they may not notice a problem/where the solution can be found.

Luck itself acts on both the physical and mental domains. Working to either bring someone the edge they need, or the unfortunate downfall they didn't expect/hoped wouldn't happen.

If you have more questions, as long as it isn't directly about the info in your survey, feel free to ask me in the thread. If it's about the survey info, please ask me through a private message.

What is your sex, what is your gender? Why ask the same question twice? Fallout stats? What nonsense is this?
Your avatar makes your final question quite amusing. xD

Anyway, to your question.
For the question about gender vs sex, well, that depends on who you ask, and when you ask that question. Psychologists kind of pick and chose for themselves when to use which to mean different things.

For example, one of my teachers was asked to change all "genders" she had in a article by a publisher once simply because "sex" was shorter.

For right now though, in this survey, sex is to be the physical bits of the body that identify one as a man or a woman. Gender is the mental construct of an individual's personality that they identify as and may chose to express outwardly (how they dress for one example) as either male or female. I chose this because it's what psychologist generally define the terms as and because it's useful for sorting my data.

To be shorter, sex is the physical, gender is the mental/social.
There's a bit more to it than that, but that's the simplest way I can put it.

Hope that answers your question. The others can be answered by reading the OP.
To add more to it, this survey is based on this study.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15825900
Basically they wanted to find out what traits were most desired from an "ideal" partner, so they gave each participant a set amount of money and told them to spend it in the 18 categories to "build" their ideal partner.
When I learned about the study I thought it sounded a lot like the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system used in fallout, so I chose to do a similar study using the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system.

If you have more questions, (as long as they aren't about your data or someone else's), feel free to ask in the thread.

Otherwise, if you want to participate, please make sure you're qualified, send me your filled out survey through private message, and ask any other questions about data also through PMs.

Otherwise, have a goo one.

Thanks for participating. The comments have been most helpful.

Also, could you Edit into your post a list of the S.P.E.C.I.A.L.s in order of most important to least important.
I'd just go by how you scored them, but you have a couple that are even.

Have a good one!

Well, Intelligence and Charisma are absolute musts for interesting conversations and experiences. Perception is important for my partner to be capable of being, well, perceptive of my moods and feelings to go along with their Charisma.
Strength, Endurance, Agility, and Luck are (generally) more physical attributes for more sporting experiences when I value the intellectual and basically "nerdy" characteristics.

Strength, Endurance, and Agility are generally all capable of being worked around through Intelligence too. Luck is the only stat I can entirely dismiss as it's by definition impossible to measure in addition to being largely inconsequential to everyday life in my opinion.

From most to least important:
Charisma/Intelligence
Perception
Agility
Endurance
Strength
Luck
