Poll: The 3DS or the Vita

3DS XL is the nicest handheld console I've ever used, and yes I've played a Vita.

Lets face it, Nintendo games can just be picked up and played; it's perfect for a handheld. This is why Nintendo has always been the leader in portable consoles. I have no desire to play Uncharted on the go, even if in HD. If I wanted to play that game it would be on my HD TV with surround sound speakers. Sony games just seem like that were made for that.

Not to make Vita owners cry but I think the 3DS has won me over here. VanQQisH made the fight much closer than I had hoped (since if it's a close fight, that means I might be wrong but after looking over the game choices people have cherry picked (as well as the price), I think the 3DS is the better "Right now" option for my own personal tastes.

HOWEVER, with that said, it is very likely that I will get a Vita as well (just not right now). The Vita list of games provided by members of the Vita crowd have tickled my interest and the PS+ Service looks like an absolute STEAL (especially since I also own a PS3).

Sony has kind of shot themselves in the foot though with this "We're going to drop the price eventually but you'll have to wait for it!" [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.401301-Sony-Announces-PS-Vita-Price-Drop-in-Japan#16526739] attitude as I'm just sick of waiting. Buying the Vita when I know the price will go down this year would just be kind of silly...
