Mech Warrior 2 was first, so it's abbreviation, MW2 still stands.
Modern Warfare 2 is abbreviated CoD:MW2, or CoD 6.

My thoughts exactly. Wow, I had no clue there were so many MW2 fans out there. It's a shame we can't get a modern game like this.
And for the popularity of battletech, I find it hard to believe so few forum members have ever heard of MechWarrior 2.
