Generic New York city, peaceful, calm. All crimw has been wiped out in the city after the Supercop (from Crackdown), Spiderman and amazingly Altair (who for some reason fell through a time gap and was beemed into the future) came and made their justice known. All bored and sitting around one of them had the amazing, and stupid, idea to race around the city. To even everything out, it's not a straight forward race and there are markers that they all must reach to make it difficult then just getting from A to B. No rules were made so the contestants thought it would be fun to axe the other players while they're at it to insure victory. The time was set. They were prepared and ready... GO!

Why I chose who I chose. I had firstly the Hulk and Sonic and many other racers, but they would win hands down. The Poll would look like this: Sonic-34 votes, everyone else-1-2. The three chosen have a bit of even abilities save for spiderman but he doesn't have guns or knives.

Yeah but he can't climb skyscrapers.

I went with the Supercop from Crackdown, because he's pretty much unstoppable when he's fully maxed out.

Yeah the Agent from crackdown, as he can just hop into the supercar and drive forever at 200 miles an hour.

On a flat stretch, the Agent would take it because of his maxed-out driving abilities. But in a race with a variety of points to reach, Spidey is untouchable.

Altair's quick, but he's quick for a human. The Agent can run fastish and do gigantic jumps, but compared to Peter Parker he's a turtle.

If Spidey can do the web-slingshot, he wins.

Frankly, Spiderman wins kinda no matter what. Yes, the agent can drive the supercar, but that's no longer "Who's faster, Spidey or the Agent?" That's "Who's faster? Spidey or a super-sportscar?"

With no rules, maxed out agent is a real killing machine. I doubt Spidey could outrun a heatseeking Firefly X7...

Also while Spidey cab slingshot, the agent had better overall speed and jump length.

Yeah... Unless Altair broke Supercop's re-cloning device and killed him in his sleep, and whacked peter parker at work the day before the race, I'd have to give it to spidey.

I have to agree that on a non-flat stretch Spiderman would easily win, since he wouldn't have to dodge those missiles and such, he could just use his webs to redirect them or something. And as for Altiar... I dunno; if he tried to use his horse then I'm sure some random crusaders would just happen to be there to give him shit even if the city was scoured of crime (heh, heh... crusaders as crime...). But Spiderman has enough speed and agility to be able to take on the straight parts and the ones that require quick maneuvers.

I went for Altair, as not only is he the best at tracking down Markers (anyone for a flag hunt?), but he could also take out either Agent or Spiderman with a jump and Hidden Blade stab.

Thing is, Altair is the only one without a superpower. The Agent has his suit and the maxed-out abilities, Spiderman has the radioactive DNA but Altair has nothing. He's just a human. Can't run faster than a human, can't jump higher etc. He'd lose by a mile. Unless he saves a monk and the monk has just invested in a high-powered V126 aerodynamic Popemobile.

I'm seeing alot of different view points on this one.

I thought that was pretty good. Remember, they all have realised by now that they can kill each other to win this race.

The reason I din't vote for Spidy, awesome though he may be, I sucked hard on the race courses on EVERY Spiderman game. Spidy, 2, 3, Ultimate. I either over swung or hit the side of the buildeing and was forced to climb the rest of the way there with my super slow spider climb! I'm sure Altair would of chucked his knives at him by now or he would of become a squashed insect on the bottom of Supercop's shoe (Who I now realise is called 'The Agent')

Not to down you or anything, but I don't believe that Spiderman would have the same problems with swinging by his webs because he's: used to it, practiced it, and is not using a control-method quite dissimilar to hands, feet, and body (this part is key). I'm pretty sure he could also shoot off another web and swing from that if he was on the side of a building (although, maybe he can't in the games, I dunno).

The agent could just extract himself and then re-clone (is that a word) at the end of the race.

He pre-captures the spawn point next to the finish line and all the other points. I building too high? A ledge too far? He turns his gun on himself and respawns in the nearest spawn point.

Agent can also take a few rocets to the chest. I don't remember Spiderman being able to. An explosion went off near him and shreaded his suit but it actually didn't make contact with him.

I also remember Spiderman being smart enough to dodge missiles and use things that followed him against others.
Now I wonder how Green or Hobgoblin would do in this race? =3
(You know... minus all the no crime stuff because they are... well...)
