There are a very few people where I spefically imagine things that I could do to mess them up, (like, people I reallly dislike) but I'd never get the balls to actually go through with it. I do tend to complain about them a lot, though. Take that, d-bags.

I try to be a nice person in general. Usually, I am.

Dear yous guysfellow Escapists. Do you ever sit down and actually think about ways you could be a total ass? LikeAs in give it sufficient thought on how you could make your enemies miserable, or make somebody at random feel like total crap?

Me? I just wing it.
To answer your question: No.
You know, if you're going to be a grammar Nazi about it, at least put a comma after 'As in'. As it is, you just come off as a bit of a douche, instead of just a know-it-all.
Although, it does seem appropriate, as this thread is about intentionally being a jerk. If it was, in fact, intentional, then I'm sorry for my lack of humor in this situation.

OT: I don't usually do that, but I certainly know people who do, and I can see the appeal. However, being a dick too often is the mark of someone with low self-esteem; people who can't feel good about themselves without screwing with other people.
I am amazed by your inability to pick up the bone-snappingly heavy cynicism that came along with the post you just quoted.

It was an attempt to make me look like a ***** and have my actions in it speak out themselves so I didn't have to make my point any further that I am a "natural" jerk.

If you took a minute to examine and think about it before blowing the "Nazi" whistle you might have picked up on that.

Ahem, allow me to point out the flaws in your logic. Sometimes screwing with others is just for fun. END

It's called lulz. And often we do things for them

And when confronted with our shenanigans you are obligated to say "I did it for the lulz". Saying anything else is fail.

I do rather often actually, and I'll tell you why.

I'm a fiction writer. I have to be creative with how I make my characters mess things up and make themselves a bane to others. :D

I don't in real life however.

I would actually like to become a more efficient asshole, any tips?
My advice is to keep quiet during deeply personal conversations with friends, only speaking to make wise cracks or snide putdowns whenever you can take advantage of one of their remarks. Refuse to stick your own neck out by refusing to discuss anything that troubles you.

As Sun Tzu said, ensure you're invulnerable before seeking out other people's vulnerabilities. He also used to say "That's what she said" after anyone else ever said anything.

You have all just lost the Game, and you are now aware of your breathing, and any itches you may have.

I try to avoid being Chaotic Evil, thanks.
What does that have to do with being chaotic neutral? Hehe, get it?
OT: I am a master at the art of assholery, as I know the formula.
Being an asshole= making someone mad without getting mad yourself.

One of my skills is seeing ways to use the rules to screw up the objective of a project or bill. I don't act on these, but I see them. I may see the loopholes but I just make note of them as they may be useful later. The point of a onetime use cloak of invisibility is not to just raid the girls shower, but to raid it at the opportune moment.

To answer your question: No.
It may be the sleep deprivation (it's 3.55 am here), but I found that laughably funny. (Or lol, in short, but I can't stand that ugly bastardisation of the English language...)

OT: I try quite hard not to be a total jerk. I just have a cynical sense of humour, so it doesn't always seem that way... Also, being a total ass-hat is far too easy nowadays; it stops being fun after a while.
Oh, and you're all blinking manually now.

Do my intentional grammatical errors irritate you?

Ha, you fell right into his trap. You thought you were trolling him, but in fact he was trolling you!!
Oh god, I can't stop laughing....

Seriously, it's been like four minutes now, I can't stop...

All right, there it goes. Anyway, I don't ever plan it. I think of my entire life as a stand-up comedy. I tell lots of jokes at other people's expense, but usually only when they're there and know I'm kidding. So you tell me: Am I a jerk?

I try to be the good guy. Crazy, I know! In this day in age, trying not to be a dick? This whole thread makes me sick.

...When I am an Ass, its all natural...
