The battlefield series is a very successful one and one that EA seems to have a hard time destroying and one of the few EA games I enjoy. I myself have 1942 (and both expansion packs), Vietnam, and most recently 2142 (and northern strike). They are also some of the few games I truly excel at alwasy landing in the top 3 on my team.

I have both BF:2 modern combat and BF bad company the only ones you can get for console. Bad Company rules it's the first attempt they've made at making a decent single player campaign even if it is incredibly short. the online is great but it's just not right not being able to make parachutes appear from nowhere after a drop of about 4 feet.

Only Bad Company, its the first one ive had the chance to pick up, but I must say I enjoy it. The onlines great, and I find the characters really fun, and the story is refreshing after other war games.

I love the Battlefield series! As I say, "The Battlefield series is the best thing to come out of Sweden since Swedish meatballs." (Copyright)

Started with 1942, (and Road to Rome expansion), then Vietnam (only good Vietnam game ever as far as I've experienced/heard), then 2 (with Armored Fury and Euro Force), and Bad Company. I passed over 2142 for some reason, not sure why. Guess I had alot of stuff going on at the time. Looking forward to Heroes, but Id rather they did another of the more tactical, hardcore kind. Can't wait for the next of that kind.

I've got BF2142. It's fun, and I play it every once and again, but I'm pretty terrible at it.

go pick up a copy, it's about 20 dollars and comes with the northern strike expansion pack.
I bought 1942, secret weapons of WWII, road to rome, and Vietnam in the battlefield 1942 complete collection for 20 dollars too.

Am I the only one that thinks 1942 graphics are better then Vientam's?

I've played all of them but the best would be Battlefield 2, followed closely by the very original.

BC doesn't even feel like a Battlefield game.

2142, although I'm growing tired of staying up-to-date on the methods for getting around the adware/spyware.

BF1942 was completely awesome, I wanted to get Vietnam, never got round to it though, but then I found BF2 fairly crap.

Loved them all except Vietnam, thought it just lacked a bit.
Currently into Bad Company, such a fun game to play compared to the rest of the feckless drivel out there.
