So I just wen to the beach today, I noticed that it was crowded and that no one was in the water, then I realized that no one was swimming because the water was 59 degrees. So i decided to go into the water (it was kinda cold at first but then i started swimming and people kept gaving confused looks asking themselves what I was doing in really cold water). So I ask you this, what do you think of the beach?

The beach is pretty and all, but the water is always so painfully cold, so I never bother swimming. Relaxing there is nice, though.

The only Beaches I ever really went to were in Florida.
Ever been to a Florida beach during Summer? It's a madhouse of Tourists and Broken Bottles.

I was young and stupid though, so I didn't mind so much.

Now I feel like I like them, but not enough to go without ample reason.

I went in the sea today and it was 6 degrees. (That's 42.8 Fahrenheit)
I don't really like beaches, I just like the sea/waves/cliffs/caves, beaches don't have much to do on them.

I love the beach when we have a BBQ and a few tents set up, go for a drunken nude swim at 3 in the morning and retreat to the fire.

Ever since I almost drowned, I've always hated swimming. I like fishing, though. So yeah, I like the beach.

59 Degrees?! That sounds really warm for an ocean.(Hell it's almost T-shirt weather up here in Massachusetts)

I don't really like the beach. If I go I'll just lay in the sun since scummy sea water isn't stuff I really like to be in. However, I'm never really one to relax, I always need to be doing something. Even if it's just reading a book, or whatever, I need to be concentrated on something.

I've never liked the beach, sure it can be peaceful and nice at times, but I just find it so boring.

In my own opinon I could never quite understand what was so fun about sand and freezing cold water.

Depends on the beach. If it is like a beach with no Seaweed close to the shore, I can handle it. I am deathly afraid of seaweed touching my feet. Scarier then a shark ever!

I go there to surf every time I can.

But that's about it.

Overall, I like it.

Nice large sandy beaches that are empty other than you or are big enough for everyone to have enough room are awesome. Norway beaches are the best. Sometimes the weather up there is fantastic and I have never seen a crowded beach there.

Beaches are OK I guess. It really depends on the beach and who I am with. I used to go with my grandparents when I was young and it was really boring, but I have been with some buddies and I really enjoyed it.

Love the beach.

Surf kayaking, surfing, swimming, chilling, digging great big holes, romantic walks. Beaches are generally awesome places. Not as great when they are packed but all you need is a map and some effort and there are always little coves and hidden beaches or ones that people cant be bothered to walk to.

Most of the time when i go to the beach its with family, we don't live near a beach so its a once a summer thing. Usually when we go its like family week or something minivans and beer guts galore.
