I dunno, me and my brother are in a constant arguement over whether Aliens or T2 is better. I personally prefer Aliens, now that I remember half the units in starcraft allude to it, they made dropships popular and cool, and they invented the Sgt. African American (Who is undeniably badass and awesome), I'm looking at YOUUUUU halo!

He is a good director i think, with some good depth, scope and vision. He is my favorite kind of story teller, and the kind i endeavor to be, one who can and will take the time to create new universes for us to explore in great detail. At the very least, he should be able to make a second Avatar that doesn't totally suck. Here's hoping.

The Abyss, because it was classy and pretty damned cool for its day (and also because everyone and their dog will go for the newer shinier stuff :p).

Which reminds me, I bought The Abyss on dvd the other day. Must be time to watch it again.

It's a close fight between Judgement Day, True Lies, and Avatar with T2 winning out because I can honestly say that it helped form my current love for all things cinema. All 3 of these movies scored perfect 5/5's in my book though.

The Abyss.
I just loved it to death.
Really? It was Ok by me, but at the time it would have been the third best one made by James Cameron (and coincidently was the third film made by James Cameron)

Terminator 2 was just so good, I can't think of anything I didn't like about it, it was just so expertly done. Avatar was good too, its just that if you judge it by its own merits and take out the CGI, its a bit on the lackluster side; Not to say its bad, just that its the environment that really did it for most people, not the plot.

Aliens and T2. They're one of the few of the man's movies I've seen.

[small]I haven't even seen Avatar...[/small]

I didn't think that any of his movies were amazing, although the best one is Aliens.

Most of the others (especially avatar) were awful IMO.
