Poll: The best of James Cameron

Aliens, Terminator (haven't seen the second yet), The Abyss, Avatar, Titanic.

And Avatar only beats Titanic because it is technically astounding. As a film it's a piece of shit, but as an exercise in wanking with CGI, it's beautiful. Though I suppose the same is true with The Abyss, really.

Aliens was an absolute classic, at least the best sci-fi/action of all time.

This. He made some other good movies, but none of them as good as Aliens.

In my opinion Aliens is on par with Avatar could even be tied for my pick.

I like the Terminator the most, but from a purely technological standpoint, Avatar wins hands down.

TBH, the only film of his I saw was Titanic, really, and I never cared for that movie. I guess I'm one of the earth's lonely 2% who thought it was...not schlock, per say, but...not good. Definitely overrated. I suppose it's just not to my taste.

My favourite is Titanic, followed by Avatar. It's been so long since I last saw Terminator 2, that I can't really remember enough about it. And I havn't actually seen Aliens.
