Poll: The best Wrench in gaming?

My favorite right now is Black & Decker's auto-adjustable wrench [http://www.blackanddecker.com/ProductGuide/Product-Details.aspx?ProductID=15392]. It's a bit thicker than a normal adjustable and can't be used for all the same jobs, but when it can it sure is a nice convenience.

by whacking objects you can make them sprout guns but by whacking people it does crazy damage (especially to spy's for some reason).

This. Ratchets Wrench kicks ass. You can get a mod for it that sets it on fire. How freaking awesome is that?

I think you just posted this thread for the sake of getting up your post count I doubt that you really care what wrench is the best, and even less so about what other people think

Again, Ratchet's wrench is the best. It's a cross between the Obsidian Blade upgrade in Ratchet: Gladiator (Deadlocked in US) or the wrench in Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty (pick up and throw flaming lava-rocks)

Either Ratchet's or Max's. (From Dark Chronicle) Ratchet's one owns, and Max can upgrade his into awesomeness incarnate.

Donovan's wrench from Fallout 3, just to be a jerk because it doesn't really have much use in the game. Also, because I never pay too much attention to wrenches in games. Maybe I should start to.

The magic wrench from Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. It beats stuff, turns gears, and even repairs your broken vehicle infinatly by attracting each individual block that was destroyed back to your vehicle in perfect condition.

I voted for the TF2 engy's wrench (only because it is my favorite class). My first choice would be the Engineers from Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Whole matches were won or loss with it, but then I remembered they were actually called pliers.

System Shock 2, or Half Life: Opposing Force.

TF2's wrench is bested by the TF1 wrench as it could repair player armor (back when it was a depleatable resource). Bioshock's wrench is bested by System Shock's wrench, but not for any quantifiable reason. Prey's wrench was only used once in the entire game - the rest of the time I used any of the crazy alien guns that were available.

My pick? The Wrench used by Cpl. Shepard in Half-Life: Opposing force. That man could LIQUIFY people with a wrench, making all the other entries lame in comparison.
