OT:Cheap does not = fun.
Yeah, but likewise expensive =/= fun. Enjoyment of a game, especially considering age of the game in question, can't be gauged by it's price.

On topic: Some of the early lego games will probably be cheaper now, stuff like Lego Star Wars 1, Lego Star Wars 2, maybe the PS2 versions of more recent Lego games, as will many games from I'd say the PS1 era onwards. And of course, pre-owned games will be cheaper than recent releases.

Cheap games aren't always fun. However I am a fan of buying old games that I ignored the first time around; I'm currently playing through Fable 2.

I got Saints Row 2 for £2.50 and that game is awesome so yes I do agree with this sentiment to some extent.

It is quite an experience to find that cheap little game collecting dust at your local retailer. You pick it up, dust it off, and buy it. You go home and pop it in and you realize that you have stumbled upon a golden nugget. It's times like those where it's awesome to gamer.

First time said experience happened to me was with Eternal Darkness on the Gamecube. I bought it for 8 dollars and nearly dropped anchor when I realized it was the mindfuck to rule all mind-fucking games. Aah, they don't make em' like they used to.

Lots of non-poll polls spring up recently...

OT: The Saboteur is really fun and I picked it up new with the DLC for $19.99. I heartily give my recommendation for that.

Well most of the games I play are open source and therefore free, or they're older games that came on great big cartridges. I think those are more fun than the new, pos titles that are all basically clones of each other because the big corps don't want to take chances with their money. If you like survival horror, Penumbra is relatively new (07 - 08) and it's really good, and the entire trilogy is only a $20 download.
