I thought that The Conduit was a big letdown, the campaign was O.K., but the Multiplayer seems too much like CODWA to be original.
I think he means Call of Duty: World At War, but he forgot the "W" at the end. I'm not sure though.Cpt_Oblivious said:I don't own it but plan to, it looks good.
What's CODWA, by the way?
And please elaborate and tell us who Patrick Buchanan is.
Is it true that the controls were really good as well? I heard they were fully customisable, what every Wii (heck, console) game should have. If that's true, I hope that The Conduit is the start of a new trend. It would greatly improve Wii games.Radeonx said:I liked it. It gave my wii some more playing time, and it is one of the few fps games on the wii, so I thought it wasn't bad.
Personally, I loved the controls.Assassinator said:Is it true that the controls were really good as well? I heard they were fully customisable, what every Wii (heck, console) game should have. What could you compare it to, Red Steel?Radeonx said:Personally, I loved the controls.Assassinator said:Is it true that the controls were really good as well? Personally, I'm not looking forward to the internet when Chuck Norris dies of old age.Mr. Fister said:I'm not really interested in it (I can't get online, and I don't find most FPS games appealing anyway), but going by most reviews, I think High Voltage Software did a good job with it. Yes, it's not really innovative, and it would be forgettable and mediocre on any other console, but the fact that it's a fully functional shooter with good graphics on the Wii really shows that the system is capable of loads more than what is currently being put on it. I hope there's more games like this in the future for the Wii, and I really hope HVS's other titles (Gladiator A.D. and The Grinder) also turn out great.
That being said, I am not looking forward to these message boards on the day the Zero Punctuation review of it is posted.
Don't worry, that's never gonna happen. Chuck Norris roundhouse-kicked the living crap out of old age when he challenged it to a match.Quadtrix said:Personally, I'm not looking forward to the internet when Chuck Norris dies of old age.Mr. Fister said:I'm not really interested in it (I can't get online, and I don't find most FPS games appealing anyway), but going by most reviews, I think High Voltage Software did a good job with it. You've got the upcoming dead space. That will certainly beat the conduit.cavsfan69 said:It's a sad day in Nintendo-land when the conduit (i mean really?!) is the most acclaimed fps for their system. Come to think of it its the only acclaimed fps that I've heard of for the Wii.
