nintendo Wii. Since you know. They invented motion controls and now everyone just wants in on it.
Actually, Sony had a motion controller for playstation 2, they just didnt have many games made for the motion controls.
If your talking about the Playstation Eye then that doesn't count lol. Since it is this generation of consoles.
The Eye Toy was originally put out for the PS2. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EyeToy
im talking about the Zero G motion controller, you tilted it forward to move forward and back to move back, shake to jump, etc etc.
That's all well and good, but I went looking for it just now... To begin with it's a 3rd party controller, and it uses the motion control to mimic one of the analog sticks.
More importantly, as near as I can tell it was released in 2007 - which... Is
after the Wii was launched...
Aside from which, motion controls predate all of that anyway.
Tilt based controllers for PC and various consoles have existed for a really long time, but they never worked very well.
For that matter, do you want to know what the Nintendo Powerglove actually was? (Never mind that it didn't work very well)
Even before that, there was a tilt based controller for the Atari 2600.
Controllers that somehow sense motion or tilt is nothing new.
Ones that use it as anything other than a way to mimic other control schemes on the other hand...
