Never mind this post, my stupid internet browser didn't show my first one until I re-did the whole thing.

I haven't broken anything, but my brothers break controllers quite often. They also lose important parts to them, like, say.... the battery pack. But on the plus side, its awesome to rig an Xbox controller to work on the battery pack from a Wii controller.

I knew a guy who got so mad at a game once he chucked his controller at his tv, breaking both.
Another time he was mad he wasn't drumming along to rockband properly so starting bashing on the drums with an enraged look on his face and broke the sticks. The worst part is it wasn't even his equipment.

I don't understand why anyone plays a game if it makes them this mad. It's supposed to be fun. It's not worth stressing that much over. I have never broken or thrown anything in anger when playing a video game. It always deeply disturbs me when I play a game with someone and they do.

...I still have both of my original NES controllers... hell, even my Atari 1-button joysticks still work.

So no, I've never broken one directly, though I have had a left mouse button break on me from overuse. It lasted a good five years of click-heavy gaming.

I haven't broken a controller, but I once threw a hairbrush and my wall so hard it left a large dent in the wallpaper.

I did, bit it was my intention to do so. I took one my old xbox original controllers and just started to do everything under the sun to it, just because I was wondering how durable it was. And it was pretty durable.

Only one, and that was from anger. It was a PS2 controller and I was playing Guilty Gear, and I after the nth time I died by the SAME character by the SAME bullshit attack that I thought was cheap so....yeah.

I stopped though because they are expensive now, so I just swear a lot more.

I used to hold the world record on the Mile High club for COD4 and most of the arcade scores, I eventually got knocked down to 20th or something and I was on a playthrough which seriously broke the world record by like 1.5 seconds flat that no one would be able to break, got to the final bit where you have to kill the guy with the hostage (easy when practiced) and my controller ran out of power... Didn't destroy the controller funny enough I just launched the battery pack at the wall and it put a small dent into the wall.

my PS2 analogue sticks stick to my thumbs for some reason and the RB button on my xbox 360 controler that is now a couple years old and came with my xbox 360 old elite(not the overhyped one) by me accidentally dropping it onto a wood floor or something, but it won't even press

and i do the twisting but since xbox 360 controllers are made to look and feel like bricks then it's fine, mainly i get angry from CoD6/7 (the times when you just survive by your fingernails and you wait for your health to get back up from behind cover, and the moment you turn from one entrance to leave you get killed by the people that only appear there AFTER i look away)

No I haven't. A friend of mine came over to my parents house and played Mortal kombat vs DC (or something similar), got frustrated and threw the PS3 controller across the room and broke it. My dad then demanded that he paid the full £40 for the controller, damned near frogmarched him to the nearest games store to purchase a new controller and promptly banned him from setting foot in his house again. My dad is a big believer in respecting other people's property, and we were brought up so that, if we got angry at a game, then we have to turn it off.

I broke off an R2 button from one of my PS3 controllers once. It took a beating though, I had been throwing that thing around for a week or so.

I've broken my gaming headset, but never the controller itself. They're pretty resilient.

Never broke one, but I squeeze them hard when I get frustrated. A few times I've almost squeezed them broken though. Heard how the plastic started cracking.

a few years back i was playing the Zelda game on the Wii where you turn into a wolf, one part where you can't go backwards to have fun and have to defend a carriage while on a horse while the carriage runs in circles if it gets looked at by an enemy and dies because i kill the infinately respawning enemies and miss the fire with a boomerang that somehow puts it out, on my 10th try in that 2 hours (around that time) i got so annoyed that i was in tears from just sheer frustration, talk about difficulty spike for a young kid... my parent were lucky that i have never been violent(most violent thing ever was giving my sister a black eye with a cricket bat by accident when i was about 4...), and i wore the wii-wrist strap because i might have thrown the wiimote at the TV...

i still havent got past that part(Ai's Fault, we could get the whole way if it just ran on instead of circling the same meadow intil it's death wish was complete(and you couldn't aim your bow and steer the horse at the same time)

Nope never althought does breaking the wii motion plactic jacket thing count?
When I inset the wii motion plus into the remote, I yak the strape to go through the hole at the back (that is where the plastic had been torn out abit). Although to be honest I view the plastic jacket to be pointless since it made for those who hurted themselves using it (it had never happen to me).

i don't know why either, i get seriously annoyed at how i die every 5 steps in Cod 6/7 multiplayer, but i dont have much else to do and CoD 7 has zombies so that's a good stress reliever

People get annoyed because they believe there better than the game or the majority, for example when I play COD I get annoyed at when I die sometimes as I know in fact I'm better than the public players and I shouldn't have got killed etc.
