Ever since the late 1910's, with the introduction of Felix the Cat and his world of genuine surreal madness, cartoons made it into our collective memory and they would never leave... some of them were about dimwitted mice, but some OTHER were about cool and unpredictable rabbits... and so many other cool characters were born after that. But which cartoon character truly embodies Coolness in all of its forms, which cartoon character gets to stay cool forever, no matter the decade? It is it and old time classic, or is it a modern one?

EDIT: Ok, as far as the actual choices, Samurai Jack is unsurprisingly leading with Darkwing Duck and Toph close by (again, unsurprisingly, Toph = Awesomeness, as Einstein used to say), and of course, we got everyone's favourite pegasus, Rainbow Dash, who adds 20% more coolness in this thread.... WHY DIDN'T YOU PICK FELIX THE CAT!!!? I mean, forget the period of his "magic bag 'o' tricks", Felix was the original mischievous oddball in Animation, every single anthropormophic cartoon character was modeled after HIM! And why I see a lack of Bugs Bunny here? Ok, he might have sold himself to Michael Jordan at some point but come on... Bugs is always Bugs!

EDIT: I like how things are going so far: Samurai Jack is heavely distanced from the opposition, with Darkwing Duck and Rainbow Dash fighting for a second place, and Toph and Bugs Bunny battling for a third. Good show.
EDIT: Well I'll be, it would appear that Samurai Jack has even surpassed the "Other" option. I now declare him to be the coolest cartoon character on this thread, "Other" places itself in second position and with a considerable gap, we've got Rainbow Dash in third place. Nice.
