Poll: The correct form of typing a rimshot.

My friend and I are having a discusion about how do we say a bad joke is really bad, and I said:

"Oh, I just go like *ba dum tss*, like a rimshot"

"What? That's not how you type a rimshot, it's *badatumps*"

"No way! listen to this http://instantrimshot.com/, it's OBVIOUSLY *ba dum tss*"

"Nope, it's *badatumps*"

What do you guys think?

I type either *ba dum tss*, *do do dish*, or *rimshot please*.

When typed in one word I read it as "bad a tumps" which makes no sense.

I always wrote it "ba dum dish," if I had to write it at all.

I thought a rimshot was something else but out of those two I would imagine it's the first one.

I usually go "ba dum tish," if I just told a bad joke. The "tish" just makes me think of a really weak, flat cymbal to highlight an equally awful joke.

"Ba dum tssh" is how I would actually write it, but it's never come up.
