"Reviews are too biased"

Reviews are about PERSONAL OPINIONS. Maybe a banana might be able to give you a non-biased game review. But even that's stretching the idea of "non-biased". They're not to describe the game, they're to give a BIASED OPINION. Deal with it.

Personal opinions? Yes.
Biased opinions? No.

A professional reviewer is suppose to be unbiased... as much as possible. But reviewers are too biased; not acting professionally.

Also, giving an opinion is fine, but the reviewer should describe why he thinks the way he does about the game.

Asking a reviewer to be 'objective' is like asking a politician to not create policies based on ideology. It makes absolutely no sense. A "review" is providing your personal opinion on something. Opinions are biased. That's how it WORKS. So someone has an opinion that is different than yours? Oh boo hoo.

The word "bias" is only thrown around by people who don't know what they're talking about. The word is talking about your personal preferences, and if you're doing a review, you're talking about your personal preferences. You can't use someone else's, because you're NOT THEM. Telling people YOUR OPINION is what a review IS. There is ONE person who can make a fully objective review. It's a banana. Maybe that will be able to. That will be able to give you a perfectly objective and non-biased review. Do you know why? BECAUSE IT'S A BANANA.

Please stop whining about reviews being about opinions. That's what the word MEANS.

I have to disagree with your definition of "bias".

bias [http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/bias]
- a particular tendency or inclination, especially one that prevents unprejudiced consideration of a question; prejudice
or
- to cause partiality or favoritism in (a person); influence, especially unfairly
Also, I don't care if a reviewer has a different opinion. I only care about his arguments; his reasoning. Those things give a lot more insight. Reading those makes me feel the reviewer is turning a blind eye to some (or even all) of the problems of the game. Thus unfairly favoring the game aka being biased.
