Poll: The Daily Show and The Colbert Report

Love them both, and they are considered credible sources for my news-coverage needs. I prefer Colbert over Stewart, though. I certainly find them to be better than "actual" news programs of late; biased or not, I tend to agree with them. Sure they don't cover everything, but I can find the rest on the internet or wherever.

Used to watch CNN and NBC more regularly, but for the past several years I have not liked the way they've handled themselves (and I've always disliked FOX news; I personally think it's garbage). Colbert and Stewart, however, continue to shine bright.

Keep it up, you comedic diamonds you.

Their Comedy First, News Second. It's sad when two comedy shows are a better place to get news from than most News Channels.

I prefer The Daily Show over Colbert, although their both very funny.

I think they've bloody brilliant....however comedy is their first and foremost priority. Stewart has said it himself, how can you take a show seriously when it's 24 hours behind Monday-Thursday and has nothing during the weekends?

I think this was the interview with Chris Wallace where he said this, right? Well I do agree that yes, he does twist some facts and I know that he openly admits it. For me though (a college student) I usually miss the daytime news. His and Colbert's show are biased and not completely true. However, You can not deny that the events themselves are true. The debt crisis, Weiner scandal, and etc.

I guess I could say it isn't so much as news as a somewhat informational comedy show. Would you agree to this at least?

I prefer Colbert over Stewart, though.

I'm quite the opposite, I much prefer Stewart, but I agree both of them should definitely keep it going.
