Make sure you see a live version of it. Again, I recommend P.U.L.S.E. The video they play during Time is just awesome.

It's my 2nd favorite Pink Floyd album after "Wish You Were Here" so I think it's pretty good.

Just to annoy you, I'm going to say Master of puppets, and metal altogether, wouldn't exist if it wasn't for Pink Floyd and their musical influence.

Probably my favourite album, though there are one off songs that I prefer from other artists. Most acts can't seem to create a cohesive album like Dark Side though, and it is great.
