Werewolves have sucked in pretty much every game ever. There were some pretty good Oblivion mods, but mostly they just turned your char into an overpowered scourge of Tamriel. Something new and exciting would be nice, like guilds and the like.
A werewolf guild would be awesome
When you first become a werewolf you don't have control, whether it be if you don't kill someone every time you turn you die/lose(as a way to enforce the no real control part)
After the first time you turn or so you get approached and offered to join the guild
The guild teaches you slowly, through quests, how to control and perfect your abilities, and changes your curse into a boon.
Eventually you will have full control and can even become the guild leader(a requirement for every guild in my opinion)
Or you could just stay a mindless killing machine or anything in between, your choice
OOH! and morph at will! think about it, you're in the middle of town, some guards stop you because they're racist and you're a dark elf, suddenly, hey, giant red eyed dark haired werewolf. complete with the ability to utilize it's howl to inflict fear and use weapons if need be. also, slightly off topic, but, BRING SPEARS BACK.

Agreed, in fact all of Bethesa's open world games in general lack variey, the same creatures, the same music for the same environments, every cave's layout may be different but they all looks exactly the same etc. The biggest issue is the music, in Morrowind all the way through New Vegas I ended up getting bored of the music and shutting it off, and that should never happen. With Fallout 3 and New Vegas the radios made it worse, because they would loop through the same 2 pieces of news and music 4 or 5 times before doing something new, when it should have gone through them in a list rather than randomly. I realize that an open world game you could literally spend weeks playing would get boring eventually, but boredom should be staved off as long as possible, whether it be in music, environments or creatures.
I would basically love to see anything and everything that you could possibly transform into... vampires, werewolves, werecrocs, elementals, dickwolves... whatever.
On a serious note, if they have vampirism/werewolves, then please, please, let them be awesome... I found the vampirism offered in Morrowind and Oblivion rather lacking.
It all just seems a little bit Twilight to me. I mean does anyone even take vampires seriously anymore? I live close to Croglin and something getting closer and closer to your window each night and then picking the lead off with it's fingernails to get at you, doesn't sound like it would sparkle. If they made Vampires so they were actually freakin scary then yeah sure, Handsome and tragic, upper class, emo poet types...not so much. Vampirism seems like some sort of supernatural STD these days more than anything -.-
Werewolves are a bit more acceptable to me but being khajiit werewolf just seems all kind of messed up. I usually play as a khajiit this is why it's an issue.
At the end of the day they could probably put the choice in for those who wanted it and it wouldn't bother me. Any sweet talkin vampire dudes roll up and they are getting punched in the mouth, just sayin.
I Sell the Dead actually did vampires alright, even as a comedy.
In fact, I would be okay with vampires like this in game. The stake through the heart thing might be an interesting way of looking for vampires. Stakes paralyze them, but you can only find them be pulling them out of corpses, which have a chance of being an actual vampire as opposed to some poor person accused of being a vampire.
Still, with Werewolves, I wouldn't mind if it were some sort of optional role-change. I mean, if you're a spellcaster, go all werewolf at night and play as a feral fighter-type for half the time. If werewolves weren't OP but a change in gameplay, much more could be done with them.
And with Vampires, I'd like if players were able to hide their vampirism with full masks, and, say, be able to protect themselves from the sun for short distances so you don't fucking die by asking a neighbor if you can borrow a cup of sugar. -.-
Really, though, I could never be bothered to play either. I only played a vampire for a bit because someone called me out for savescumming when I was like, "OMG, I forgot to get cured!" on the IRC. Vampires and werewolves just seemed shoehorned in to me- I don't see how people could have too much fun with them without having a preexisting interest in them.
And then I got a glitch that you supposedly aren't supposed to be able to get with vanilla Oblivion. -.-
But yeah, Ring of Hircine = magical handbag. Steal everything, turn into a Chihuahua, and waltz out of there with +50 STR.

Twilight had one good idea when it came to vampires, if I were a vampire I would spread all sorts of lies about what my weakness were, for example I would tell people that vampires don't have a reflection in mirrors and when my reflection shows up they wouldn't suspect me. That being said, vampires have been said why can't vampires be suave aristocrats? What better way to hunt humans then to woo them? It's not like the drudge of the Earth will taste good, no medical care all the drugs they put into their system malnourishment.
I think they need to be tweaked a bit, although I do want them in. My first playthrough of Oblivion it was pretty awesome when I realized I had contracted vampirism without realizing it. The slow effects of it and having to try and cope while I looked for a cure. Good times.

I agree with the part of vampirism i could never play a vampire because everyone knew what I was just by looking at me, that seems very bad for the survival of vampires, because it is easy to find and hunt you
Another complaint not related to vamprie but why the hell do I need to lockpick cheasts/Doors. What of I just choose to hack it down with my axe I mean if its wood it would take a small bit of time but I could still do it...

More content please!
I'd love to see both, maybe make them rival factions and have them fight.... oh wait a second... well maybe an idea that wasn't ruined by Twilight...
I'd still LOVE to see both of them, and maybe something new too.

I mean, it's kind of worth looking at from your perspective, but does it really matter in a perpetually first-person game what you look at? Every Bethesda game I've played I'd just go default and enjoy the game...

Eh, I'd hate to see the man who has dragon blood in his veins, and is destined to save all of Skyrim from the giant fire-breathing beasts,
be identified as something as non-Nordic as a vampire or a werewolf,

That would be interesting, add a vampire hunters guild where your quests involve trying to determine who, out of a list of people, is a vampire and then killing them
