PC.

Honestly the only acceptable reason to play it on any other platform is that you have a crappy PC. Period.

An Elder Scrolls game on anything other than a PC is not going to grant you the full experience. Mods, better controls, better menu, better graphics, mods, mods and of course more mods.

i will probably get it on PC My PC is still a monster and will be able to run it with ease and i have found that RPG's are better on PC than PS3 and Xbox controllers hurt my hands after 30 min and i want to play with out debilitating pain for longer than that

Why is this even a question? There is NO reason whatsoever to get it on a console, if nothing else than the construction set that will undoubtably be included on the PC.

The main strength of TES games is their great mod support, so if you willingly cut that aspect away, you're not very clever.

360, my PC would struggle, and I want it to look gorgeous.
If you want it to look gorgeous, playing it on an Xbox is probably not a very good idea. The technology of the xbox is getting more and more and more behind the PC.

I'll probably get it for PS3. I'd prefer the PC version for the mods - they did extend Oblivion by 40+ hours - but I'm afraid my old gaming PC won't be able to run it adequately.

If I ever get a suitable rig, I'll certainly revisit it on PC though.

I would have got it for the 360 if it came out sooner but I'll have my new PC set up by then and it'll be quite a bit more powerful than my 360 and not have mods so its an obvious choice. I hope it supports game pads though as I like the mouse when it comes to PC's but keyboards are just big fat slabs of buttons with tons of them going unused so I don't care for them at all. Like using a steel battalion controller for every game.

I've got a PS3 and no intention to get a better PC. PS3 it is then! It's been okay for Fallout and Oblivion, don't see why Skyrim would be different.

No, this should be in Religion and Politics.

If I manage to upgrade my PC then PC. Mods are invaluable for the longevity of Elder Scrolls.

But hey, maybe this one gets everything right? If so, I'll grab it for the PS3.

Ps3 cuz my pc can't handle it. I couldn't even play overlord on my NEW laptop without having it move like a snail.

I mod the hell out of my civs because they are easy to run and i would love to do the same for ES. Oh well i'll be relaxed on my couch while I explore skyrim.

PC. Anything else loses the replay value of mods which I have come to love so much, both playing and making mods that is.

PC and PS3. Just like I did with Oblivion I'll be getting it for both platforms. PS3 initially for trophies (I'm going on the assumption there there ARE trophies) and then later on PC when a few cool mods are out!

Seriously, Skyrim is going to be shit hot and no-one else will convince me otherwise.

I think I can sum it up for most, if not then all PC users that we are getting it for modding support.

Well at least I am anyway.
That's me. While the content mods will probably be cool, I want the PC version as insurance: if it's a total glitch-fest, the modders will likely come out with better patches than Bethesda.
I'm definitely NOT getting it for the ps3. It's obviously an afterthought for them.

I'll go Xbox 360 first just to casually play and then PC it when I'm in the mood for something more.

I was going to go for PC but I don't have a job that'll pay for the PC so I'm getting it for XBOX. I don't mind losing the mods, I'm playing Morrowind without the mods on PC and I don't think I'm going to mod it at all. I'm also playing Oblivion on the XBOX and I'm enjoying that without mods.

Mods are overrated, basically. That's the main advantage and it's really nothing.
