You're missing a few pal, where's the NES? The Sega Megadrive? The Dreamcast? The PS2?
WHERE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD IS THE PS2?!

Seriously, I refuse to pick, each has their advantages, their disadvantages, their great games and their absolute stinkers.
If I was forced at gunpoint I'd probably pick the PS1 or PS2, most of my best experiences have been on those.
Those consoles can be run on a PC sooooo...
Perhaps with a number of hours of persuasion, even then I can't get them to work properly.

Dino Crisis - PS1, on the PC Charecter models are invisible under water no matter what I do to fix it, making the game unfinishable.

Grandia 3 - PS2, The frame rate drops to unreasonably slow levels, this has the effect of making every charecter sound like a cliche horror movie monster, plus there's all the issues with shading, all in all unplayable.

Suikoden 3 - PS2, So far nothing too bad, but parts of charecters tend to streatch out and repeating pattersn flicker like mad, this makes it very unpleasant to play.

I'm sure other people have done better with emulaters than I but It's still easier to just use My PS2 which is just sitting there, or pull out and dust off my PS1 and Dreamcast for their games.

None of which matters as those aren't PC games and crediting them to the PC is bloody stupid.

PC. It's just better. Simple as that really. Please bear in mind this is my opinion ;)

This is a topic about favorite gaming device, so if you play your favorite ps2 games on PC then PC is probably your favorite device however if you play them on ps2 then yes it doesn't make any sense to credit them to pc.

Also I know the webpage option breaks what I just said however the world itsn't perfect and if that leaves you heart broken then just add them together.. i did it because I would like to know PC gamers not just farmvile/peggle gamers.

I play Halo and Gears on the Xbox and Killzone and Resistance (And everything else)on the PS3. I play the odd game on the PC and regularly play games on my PS2, Gamecube, PSP and N64. (Yes, N64, I know)

Wii, meh, barely plays Gamecube games let alone it's own.

That is why I can't choose between my darling children.

Other. My Gamecube is my baby. That thing has been put through the wringer too many times to count and still works better than anything else. I've dropped it down stairs before and it's still fine.

If I had to pick one on the list up there, I'd go with handheld because I love my DS.

Also I am fourthing or whatever the need for a PS2 option in the poll, it's the experience of the matter, not the fact that you can play the games on a PC.

PC FO LIFE BRO
In all seriousness I have been a PC gamer for forever, since my dad was a PC gamer before me and thought it would be cool to let his 3 year old son play Doom 2. I've been playing games on the PC ever since
This. Exactly this. My Dad did the same thing and I've been PC only ever since. Just wish he wasn't a lefty or corrected me on which hand uses what. Having to remap everything is a pain. :(

I use my PC to play MMO's, and I play them the most so I suppose it should be my choice... but I love my PS3 so much.
PS3 wins.

Going by how much time I spend on them...PC followed very closely by my DSLite.
On the topic of Dad's and their affect on your gaming career...
I remember watching him play all the Ultimas up to Stygian Abyss on our 386. My favorite was Martian Dreams.

I used to play PS3 exclusively (Not out of choice but out of money. Though if I had a 360/Wii I still prefer PS3) but recently I started picking up on PC gaming. Only problem is I only have a mouse pad making FPS difficult. So I would say PS3 and PC mostly.

P.S No N64 option? How dare ye!?

PC all the way, though I do keep an Xbox around for a few of its exclusives. What can I say, Halo and Forza have a little more replay value than Heavy Rain.
But not more than infamous or LBP
OT: I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the majority of escapists like the PC best, so just to be differant, PS3 FTW!

I have so many gaming and electronic gadgets on my desk that it probably will develop into a desk themed transformer at some point and walk away.

I don't see what the point is in the console and PC wars short of games being simplified for ease of use on the console which is slightly irritating. I heard that console users have no auto attack on dragon age 2? Is that true that must take alot of enjoyment out of the game if so :S. I'm glad I didn't get it on my xbox then.
