like the topic about movies but for games.

for me it has only been halo wars. i just hated all the people i'm supposed to be attached. seinna or whatever the holograms name was was probably supposed to be funny, forge was probably supposed to come off as a bad ass motherf***** and colnol sanders or whatever his name was probably was supposed to be the strict guy but i hated every single one of them.

Eternal Sonata.

I defeated the final boss and thought it was over. Then comes the final credits...

After 7 of the 10 minutes it takes the credits to finish, I turned of the system. All that work and I never saw the "the end" screen. I just couldn't

Two worlds. Absolutely terrible.

And

Call of Duty: World at War. Just an underwhelming experience. I didn't care.

That's all that comes to mind.

I frequently don't finish RTS or FPS single player campaigns. They are frequently underwhelming-just a bunch of fights or missions that all feel the same.

Two Worlds. Just... argh. It's the sort of game you play to remind yourself that your other games are in fact brilliant and that should play them more often instead of the Oblivion knock-off you're playing.

I Finished that (If you're talking about the RPG) right down to the man o' war capture.

The only game I've ever owned that I haven't finished was Eternal Sonata. The story is paced like...fuck, I dunno. It's just paced really badly.

Like a person with an incredible stutter, short-term memory loss and no notes giving a speech on quantum mechanics.

That's how badly paced it was.

I don't finish a whole lot of games these days. It has less to do with them being bad so much as to do with (having played as many games as I have) most games feel overly derivative in places.

Strangely enough, I liked both of those games. The story of WaW was bullshit, but the locations were fun to have firefights in. And in Two Worlds after I figured out to just dodging attacks, it got quite fun. I never finished it because it was a rental, and I had to return it...
It seems that everyone hates Two Worlds. Because they think it is an Oblivion clone...So what? If its fun to play, let it go. Thats the main premise of games right? But thats prolly a different thread.

I don't finish RPGs or FPSs (provided they have multiplayer) often. I normally get tired of the stories midway

Oh no, it's not fun to play. Even if I never heard of Oblivion, I would not like Two Worlds.
Terrible, unforgiving voice acting, just awful controls, which makes for just awful combat, bad camera, terrible animations...just terrible.
It wasn't fun. Not at all.

I'm all for the 'who cares, it's fun' mentality. But this game genuinely was not fun.
Not for me, at least.

I found out it was a clone of Oblivion half-way through playing it. What I didn't like about it was the combat that felt very clunky, the way the plot introduced elements too quickly and the vendor-system.

I don't wanna start a flame war, but I stopped playing Borderlands.
I don't know why I just didn't get use to it, I'll try it again another day.
