I really want to say FFVI, Golden Sun or Fallout 2, but hands down Tales Of Symphonia. That still makes me play my old Gamecube even now.

Difficult to say; Mass Effect for its story line,Oblivion and Fallout 3 for their vastness and the Pokemon series, in particular Pokemon Silver cos I just fell in love with it and it was a good way to have fun with friends.

MASS EFFECT. It gets my vote, no contest. Yes, I know it isn't hundreds of hours long like Oblivion is, but so what? It's still tens of hours long and I'm loving every minute.

Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion are tied for second place.

Legend of Zelda isn't even an RPG, it's an action adventure.

Anyway, my favorite is probably Baldur's Gate 2. Great combat, great story, great art, what more do you want?

I would say Oblivion, or Fallout 2, but I think that Bard's Tale deserves a vote. It was a rare case of a game with a genuine sense of humor. Plus, it was a Dungeons & Dragons/Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance-style game, so the gameplay was really fun.

Omg, i have to agree. I loved oblivion, and Bard's tale was a very good one. But I also have to give credit to WoW. Ive finally given in and played it and its great.

Wow, 2 many to choose from, within the final fantasy series VI is THE best, as voted for by FF fans world wide a few years ago, and I'm one of em. But Chrono Trigger is better by far than any FF game, pips VI at the post, simply because the time travel aspect of it was genious. KOTOR broke new ground for star wars games and really was like playing a trilogy of films. But alas my personal fav RPG is going to have to be Vagrany Story, never have I been emersed so much in a game than in the city of Lea Monde as Ashley Riot. I still play it, and the battle system of chains is as perfect as you are going to get, something only really looked at again for FO3.

The original FF, is one of my favorites, but so is Morrowind. There was just so much to do in both of those games. More in Morrowind, but I will not hold being less advanced against the first FF.

Persona 4. I don't think anything else has come so close to gaming perfection before.

The only thing that holds it back is it's story. Persona 3's was so much better.
