I could continue, but seriously, what's the point?

I played Mafia wars for a bit. But then swiftly stopped. Do they really count as MMO's though?

No iPod here, can't stand the things. So I'm good at the moment.

I really only play iMob. Its a good time waster, but it still gets boring after a while. And, yes, the games do require some logic, but a lot of players just arm up with the best things they can find, meaning that strategy usually just goes out the window after about level 5.

They advertise as MMO's, so that is good enough in my book. Plus, they are the closest thing to one on the iPod. (Besides that Watchmen game that totally fell flat.)

Yeah, that's one of the places that they originated. Some of the companies even advertise that they are "big on Facebook!"

There's no way to put a proper MMO on iPod. The controls would be nigh on impossible (think selecting spells, eating, camping, running, etc.), the graphics would be back in the Runescape age, and it would lag like crazy even on the new 3G networks.

I'm sick of iPod in general.

OK it's a very clever phone with the internets on and facebooks and you can make it look like a lightsabre or a pint of beer and make gun sounds and plane noises. But I honestly don't care, it's just another phone in my opinion.

Please please please can people stop using the term MMO when its not actually an MMO, an MMO is an online game where 100's of people are connected in an online virtual world simultaneously

Does the iPod have that? I highly doubt it BUT if it does then I dont see whats bad about it..

Edit: a text based MMO would be more "appropriate" for ipod/iPhone

Well not quite MMO's. You buy weapons and friend request people. After that, its basically just seeing who has more friends in a fight. Oh, and you don't see the fight. Just a screen that says if you won or lost.

So pretty much like the Myspace games but for iPhone? Uggg... I got so bored of all those on Myspace. They were all the same and no fun.

They are trying, but Puzzlers can only do so much when it comes to good games. I am liking some of the new games though. We're finally seeing a little bit more originality and a little bit less shiny colors.
