I'm a PS3 guy myself.
I've had a controller, specifically Sony, in my hands since I was four years old.
In fact, I'm uncomfortable using mouse and keyboard when playing on my PC.
Same here.
Just with an Xbox controller (even though I started on the PS1 too).
It's funny, becoming so accustomed to imperfect aiming that perfect aiming becomes, well, imperfect!
Besides, I think it actually adds to the shooter experience.
To take something out of "The Art And Design Of 'Gears Of War'" book:
"Perhaps the approximation of holding a big rattling piece of hot and deafeningly noisy metal made precision somewhat beside the point."

Depends on the game. Fighting games and keyboard is stupid, but shooters and controller is almost as stupid.

Being a PC gamer and a console gamer gives me the ability to pick the platform I feel suits the game and thus pick a controller that suits it. I can connect almost any controller to the PC so I am safe there, but native controller support is always preferable. My favourite controller is the GameCube controller, but Xbox 360 controller works better for fighting games because of the buttons. The GameCube controller works excellent when it comes to games like Zelda though.

I use my joystick (and sometimes its HOTAS throttle) when it's appropriate- for piloting aircraft/spacecraft, commanding mecha, and tank gunnery in decent armor sims. I certainly don't use it for RTS or FPS titles, except those few which integrate flying with the shooting: the Battlefields, the OFP & ArmA titles, and so on.
When a game implements flight in a serious fashion, a joystick is a godsend. When it doesn't- see Freelancer, which was fun but never complex- you tend to see a loss of depth.
