As with every country, there are dialects everywhere. Sadly, the internet seems to have developed some of its own. Many, of which, blow.

But which is it that gets on your collective nerves? Iz itz teh lolcatz speekz? 0r 1$ 17 1337? Maybe it is the Engrish which you annoying? Or txt spk, wht bout txt spk? Por gramer is all so anoyin.

Or maybe you hate the Queen's English? It's all a mater of choice, but which one do you find the worst?

Where's the 'all of the above' option, just above 'Normal'?

And why is the option for Poor Grammar spelt wrong?

Most of those get on my nerves but I think 1337 speak is just the most aggravating. Numbers and words were never meant to be mixed except in crazy algebra.

I've added all, and changed 'Poor Grammar' to that and spelling.

I can't stand 1337. Not only does it take forever to understand what the person is saying, but it just looks stupid as well.

Poor grammerz, speelin, Lolcatz and 1337 are the worst in my opinion. I don't mind abbreviations such as "atm" and "lol" when used on MSN, but in a forum I always try to keep my grammar acceptable. I don't want to think people's eyes bled from reading my post after ritin lyk dis.

The occasional lolzcats or 1337 speak is fine, what really annoys me is entire sentences of complete gibberish with this texting crap. When people send me that stuff over msn or e-mail I usually tell them very bluntly to type it properly because I'm not reading it.

Note: Probably not the best thing to be saying to a potential girl friend

I'm going to go with poor grammar and spelling, at lest with 'I am the 1337 LOL' you have a vague idea of what people are saying, but when we get to 'has anyone ever been so far to understand ect' it becomes all most impossible to read.

All of the above. I can't stand "text speech", "l33t speech" is just has bad. About lolcat "speech"...well what do you think I'll say? Just for a minute wonder, what will I say about this. Oh wait, here it is: most idiotic thing I have ever seen.

Has for poor grammar? I have nothing if you make one or two mistakes, but I absolutely HATE people who are unable to put a coherent sentence together. Giving that I play World of Warcraft I meet these kinda people a lot.

And you know what the ironic thing is about all this? I used to write on forums/Youtube/WoW/messages in "text speech"/"l33t speach" about 2 years ago. You don't realize how much of an idiot you are until you get a wake-up call.

repeated use of txt/1337 that makes reading it like translating gobble de gook

case in point; "My Immortal" fan fiction

I mean things like using "u" ect.

Although to really piss me off, use lol, brb, cba, tbh ect. in real life conversations. it gives me rage.

I would say all of them drive me crazy, but the thing I hate most IS WHEN PEOPLE THINK CAPSLOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR THE COOL. I automatically guess that if you use all caps your IQ is below 75 and 100% disregarde the post.
