I hate poor grammar/spelling because all the rest I can safely ignore when I see it. Poor grammar is usually something that I might want to read, but it often hurts my head trying to figure it out.

Text speak gripes me the most online. I can understand in text messaging as it can be tedious (Although I still use full words and proper spelling), but there's no excuse online when you have a perfectly working keyboard at your disposal.

Good ol' classic touch typing put on overdrive; that's how I type faster. Took me a while to learn how to spell worth a crap, that's for sure. But nevertheless, I'll take that over the rofls and lols.

733t Speek, bad Grammar and Txt spk. I don't mind LOLCats speak as long as it's used in a humorous way and hey, not all people are from English speaking countries, give them a break.

Text speak should not be used unless you're texting or maybe IM-ing someone.

I hate Engrish.

I'm fine with leetspeak, lolcat speak, poor grammar, text speak, and normal speak.

But speak Engrish and you die.

What's wrong with Engrish? If you are trying to speak in a language that is foreign to you, aren't you expected to make a few mistakes?

British English superiority rant

Ha ha ha. It must irk you to no end that American Standard English is becoming the standard for English around the globe. I taught English in another country with some people from various Commonwealth nations and they hated how they had to drop the "u" from many words and adjust their teaching to fit with American Standard. I loved poking fun at them because they took it so personally.
