1337, all the other "Internet Speak" variants are at least understandable, mainly. 1337 requires a fair bit of effort to read.

Lolcats and all the "i can has?" shit and all the "fail" shit.
'Fail' has become one of those words that's managed to manifest itself into everyday use. +5 points if the word 'Epic' proceeds it.

Text speak. I'm one of the few here who still likes lolcats, engrish is simply hilarious (hell, I take notes in engrish because it's quicker), 1337 speak has its charm, and poor grammar is just mistakes mostly, but text speak is just stupid and annoying. At least the others reflect amusing aspects of internet culture.
Really? 1337 has charm? But believe me, poor grammar is often far more than just mistakes. Most that do it on here are just too lazy to hold down shift before they type a letter and go back to correct something to make it slightly legible... /rant.
Actually yes, bad grammar is my second most hated internet speak. It just doesn't get to me like txt spk for some reason.

As for 1337 having its charm, it's just reflecting amusing aspects of internet culture, but in that regard I'm much more fond of lolcat speak (I do it in real life for fun) and the almighty engrish.

1337 gets on my nerves the most. Although poor grammar & spelling isn't a way of typing, it's just stupidity.

Could somebody explain to me just what is 1337 speak?
Is it some sort of dead numerical language ressurected by internet freaks?
A lost Cold War Communist code?
An alien alphabet?
None of the above?
