Poll: The Microsoft Conference

So with the various video's from Microsoft's conference, what are you guys most excited about?

I've been pleasantly surprised as that new Halo game doesn't look half bad, and Modern Warfare 2 also actually looks like an improvement over CoD4. I was skeptical about both of those games.

Also Left 4 Dead 2? I laughed at first, bet hell, it also looks good. God I love this time of the year.

Let's just hope that finals don't make me commit suicide as there may be a few games worth playing this fall/winter.

Why not just Left5Dead, some genius had that idea on an earlier thread. I wasn't pleasantly surprised because to me, cut scenes and demos and things like that have no real value in deciding whether a game is good or not. I will wait for the games and if they are good, then I will be pleasantly surprised. Also, please give us an option that doesn't agree with you or make whoever answers sound like an idiot.

The thing I'm looking for the most is more details on Halo: Reach, but now that I've gone through the five stages of death I'm willing to also give Left 4 Dead 2 it's fair run.

And Project Natal... goddamn, that looks interesting, even though it'll probably cost me a kidney.

Well, the way they make the motion controls look seems to be how the Wii was supposed to be and we all know how that went.

well, you go up to your original post and go to "Edit" At the bottom right.

On topic, Im looking forward to the new halo (YES, I know theres hate for H3, but just...halo haters just put away your torches, im not starting a flame war here. halo 3 had fun multiplayer with very flexible custom games that worked well in the forge system. Even if forge system was flawed in the sense you couldnt make maps, only spawn and delete objects. The campaign sucked though, and Im still pissed about the fact you dont get to play as a grunt...they are so cute <3)

I am also looking forward to L4D2 ALOT. and As for Modern warfare 2, yes, the CoD multiplayer can have someone addicted for weeks on end. The Campaign in CoD5 was fun as hell as well, (What with the gunning down of teh jurminz. man, PPSH kills are so satisfiying O.O Also satisfiyng when you throw a grenade at a guy and blow his freaking legs/arms off, campaign and online. Also the rare shotgun-decapitation got me smiling. yes I like gory games ^^)

So, by the end of november this year all of those will come out. I know halo ODST is coming out first, in august or sumthin, then L4D2 in November 17th. But when is COD6 coming out?

I knew Modern Warfare 2 was going to be amazing, and I definitely was not disappointed with the demo they showed. Amazing graphics, really immersive gameplay, SNOWMOBILE GUNFIGHT!!!! Just fantastic.

Halo 3: ODST looked quite a lot better than I thought honestly. I had figured they'd use the same weapons, same graphics engine, same everything, with a new story to fit the character. I saw new weapons, new features, slightly polished graphics engine... there was a lot to like in what they showed. Plus, as a bonus you get a beta invite for the next REAL Halo game, which appears to be a prequel set on planet Reach? Sign me up.

Natal was neat, but I hate the casual gaming direction the whole industry is taking.

Xbox on Demand might be the biggest feature though. Download full games from the comfort of your home without going through the nightmare that is purchasing Microsoft points? Hell. Yes.
