I say the ones in Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction. It's basically the first weapon you get that can take out almost everything in (at most) 2-3 shots.

The Lock-on from Halo 2 was really fun, me thinks.

Great, now I have to figure out what I want to do with it. I'm thinking of organizing the stars by height and lining the planets up in single file.

And any game designer who puts a sewer level or escort quest in their game will be flogged with flaming serpents.

Unreal Championship 2: Liandri Conflict is the only UT I've played. But the Rocket Launcher was pretty good in that. I'm a Flak Cannon man, myself.

UT has to be my fave, though the Fatman comes a very close second.

Depends on whether we're discussing their fun in the game or whether we like the way they operate/look, if the latter then the fatman, former would have to be Unreal Tournament, no other rocket launcher has ever been so satisfyingly entertaining in a game I think, though perhaps that was due to the goresplatter and slow kill mode.

I dunno, the Quad Rocket Launcher from Turok on the 64 was pretty badass. The animation and firing sequence were cool as hell, and it could rock the face off anything you fired it at.

The explosion from the fatman was great but the launch is really puny and not at all satisfying. I'd have to go for unreal tournament, nothing like storing up a dozen rockets and letting rip all at once.
