Honestly, I would hate to be in charge of the next movie because you're standing behind Nolan's enormous shadow.
Think about it: You do a more fun, campy version and everyone says that's not what Batman is supposed to be. You a gritty, serious version and everyone says you're ripping off Nolan. You do a more broad, generic Batman and everyone says it's forgettable compared to Nolan's.
Batman Begins had the good fortune of following Batman and Robin and being made thirteen years after the last "good" movie. People were totally on board for an art house blockbuster after Joel Schumacher's campy mess, but the next guy won't have that luxury.
My advice would be to bury the guy for a while and try to get the other DC characters to work for once. (Wonder Woman anyone?)
