As long as there are good games on my handhelds, I spend an awful lot of time locked in.
However, it's a pain to get up afterwards.

If you want to know why I ask, consider that it's related to a marketing enquiry.

I dunno, but this is a little weird.
I have but one objective while I'm sitting on the frozen throne.
That's just me though.

If i'm out and about... I tend not to spend more than 30 seconds in any public toilet anyway, and if I'm at home... well it would make sense to sit in a more comfortable chair. I wouldn't take a portable console into the toilet with me, purely because I don't really want to sit on it for that long.

Even when I had a handheld, I could just never do anything like read or game while on the john. It felt...odd.

I have the latest issue of EGM by the can, but that's as far as I go. My DS has never seen the throne room. Also, it would be incredibly awkward to play Guitar Hero 3 while doing my business, especially when the one loading screen that says "real guitar players don't sit on the couch" comes up.

Hmm I tend to just concentrate on one thing and if not it's usually a newspaper/book or whatever. Although once I did play Harvest Moon way back on my GBA!

Com'on. Don't be so stuck up. ;)
Btw, I was tired of the "gaming in subway/bus" threads.

I wont specifically bring my ds with me, but if I was playing it already, stopping seems so unnecessary (just set it down when you get up and wash your hands please)

This thread is gross, you are gross.
Everyone poops, J. Even unicorns.
That doesn't stop both of you from being right. Well, except for you, Russ. Everyone knows unicorns don't poop. They just emit a faint odor of sliced lemon on a regular basis.

This thread is perhaps spam and I would like to see it closed, but in the spirit of not being a colossal prick, I'll state this:
There is but one objective when sitting on the porcelain prince (well maybe two) and neither of them involve playing any sort of game.

Unless you are so impacted that it takes you over 40min to use the loo, why would you even consider taking anything in there to read or play? It's over and done in about 4minutes (about the boot-up time for some games)

The absolute closest is perhaps listening to a podcast or reading my RSS feeds on my Origami. Gaming? Uh, heck no... I'm not spending that much time on the can.

(And I'll second the "fiber" comment.)

i had a major lol finding this thread...i have on occasion brought the psp with me, while playing a game like ff dissidia, or crisis core, as its easy to do some mass damage or kill a quick boss on the game while pinchin off a few

people its really not THAT gross, im not physically touching it or my butt when i wipe, so how is it really that gross

if you do then you are just a noob at wiping imo

yeah 80% of the time it takes 2 minutes to do the business, but sometimes the body likes to play tricks on me and makes me work for it, in which case, the psp is muh best friend =]

I don't usually do that... but if I end up going to the bathroom WHILE already playing a game on my PSP or DS... Yea, don't expect me out of there for a good hour or two...
