I'm more worried about the fact that there's a market for this type of game (there shouldn't be) than whether it's moral to ban it (answer: no).
It is where I live. Depictions of sex and/or torture of children[footnote]Though the definition of "children" is different depending on jurisdiction.[/footnote] are illegal. A zero tolerance policy in regards to child porn has been decided on and I can't see any real reason why it shouldn't have been.
Old topic is much too old. This has been an ongoing debate ever since it came out, and honestly, I don't care either way. It's a game, it's not gonna make you go out there and commit rape, it's just meant to be out there to fulfill the fantasy of a minority. Arguing about it just gives it more publicity, and then people go "I wonder if it's actually that bad..." then they might buy it, eventually making the game a success. the company eventually might start thinking that they can sell more games by making more extreme simulations and starting the debate anew. Stop talking about it, and it will go away, without the need to start banning games. Not to mention that banning the game can make people who have those fantasies really realize how terrible their fantasy is, then comes shame, and potentially a violent reaction from repression. At least the game gives an outlet for it. I think that about sums up several opinions.
I'm not usually in favor of banning anything, but this is an exception. Why? Because this garbage has absolutely no merit or benefit, and quite a lot of potential harm. It was a close decision for me, though. My utter revulsion for that game only barely outweighed my aversion to censorship.
There seems to be this odd thing with people where mass slaughter in a game is completely fine and won't affect you (which I agree with), but when it comes to RapeLay suddenly you're going to become a rapist anyway.

The best route in a situation like this is to make a statement with your wallet. If enough people don't buy the game, the developer won't get enough monetary return to consider making a sequel.

So....yeah. If they're #54 out of 65, I think maybe we can safely assume that this isn't causing rape. It's pretty much an entire genre there, be it video games, novels, or anime.
It's as stupid as trying to ban GTA for enforcing stealing cars.
