The answer is obvious. There is no way this site would stay around without The Daily Drop !

the loss of any one show would not kill the site. anymore. a year or so ago - zero punctuation.

While ZP would probably be the biggest loss for the site I would personally miss Extra Credits more.

PSSSSHHHHH, the site will be around longer then any of those shows. Shows come and go, the site will forever remain. If Zero Punctuation left, they'd just replace it with something else.

(Edit: I originally found out about the site when Loading Ready Run moved here. But I didn't really start getting interested untill I stumbled upon Movie Bob and Apocalypse Lane. Though the biggest factor was Doomsday Arcade (The final episode aired and I watched it and got hooked immediately).

I suppose ZP. Though I think the escapist could manage without one of those and still work with the others. I mean, it did before, and there's still alot to do here even with those vids gone.

I'm going to go on a limb here and say that everyone will say Zero Punctuation. Everyone.

Personally, I came here for Shamus' Let's Play and Stolen Pixels and without them I wouldn't have know about the Escapist in the first place...
BTW you know if Shamus is on vacation or something? Because I haven's seen anything done by him in about 1 or 2 weeks maybe more, point is there has not been another stolen pixels in quite some time.
EDIT: Just checked yeah it's exactly 2 weeks since his last post was on February 4th and at the time of this post it's 18th.

It seems I'm in the minority when I point out I started visiting The Escapist for the written articles in a yonder time before there even was a Zero Punctuation. The site was fine before all the video content, it would survive without. Mind you with a whole lot less viewers, but still!

This seems pretty open and shut, it would be Zero Punctuation. If you listen to any of the people in the forums when they say how they found this site, nearly all of them say that it was because of Zero Punctuation.

I came to this site when someone linked me a Zero Punctuation clip. Since then I've gotten into the actual magazine content, features, Unskippable and Movie Bob clips too. But Zero Punctuation is unbeatable (in my opinion) when held up to other content on this site.

This time a year ago I would have said ZP, however now I'm thinking Extra Credits is gaining importance and fast. I think it's both, but Extra Credits is good enough to overtake ZP, in my opinion.

Well, obviously the factual answer is ZP. It brought me in, and probably 90% or more of the rest of traffic too. Now, I voted for Extra Credits, because I think it's the finest segment on the site to date and is a great exemplar of everything The Escapist stands for - thoughtful analysis for passionate gamers. But if it came right down to it, the one show on ESC that I could not live without... that's Doraleous & Associates. God dammit, if those guys aren't working on a D&A movie, I'm gonna kill 'em, because not having D&A in my life makes it barely worth living. That's a slight exageration, but still.

EDIT: At the end of the week, tho, Movie Bob is the first thing I watch. He just isn't quite as relevant as EC, but he is my favorite commentator on the site.

It could survive without any of those, it just wouldn't be as successful as it currently is, Zero Punctuation disappearing would probably cause the biggest drop in traffic but it might improve the community (nothing against the show itself).

Escape to the movies is the show I'd miss the most, it helps me keep up with the movie world very good, extra credits is a close second.
