I seem to have a strange on again, off again relationship with drinking water. Sometimes I will only drink water for a couple of months, and other times I will avoid it like the plague.
In general I like the taste of fresh water though, especially warm water, cold somehow hurts my stomache.

I must've had this argument hundreds of times in my life. Water doesn't taste anything! There's nothing to like or dislike!

Drinking water after you have a long run or any kind of exercise is one of the most satisfying and tasty things ever.
Being so dehydrated and overheated, its one of the best things ever

I do because it's tasteless. Or if you drink city water, it taste like metal. Or if you get city water a few cities over, it will eat battery acid (I'm not even joking).

I detest tap water, but water from a bottle is lovely and refreshing. Gets me through my work day nicely (after my cup of tea, obviously).

The more thirsty I am, the more enjoyable pure water can be. When you've had a hard, hot, thirsty day, nothing beats some good filtered water.

Though if I'm just getting a drink, and aren't really thirsty, then I tend to look for anything apart from water.

Depends on where you're talking about in England. Down in the south-east it's all 'hard-water'. It does havoc with washing machines/dishwashers, and affects the taste and texture. For instance, water in the north will be far more light and bubbly than the south.

I live in Salisbury which is pretty much the central south England, and the entire fucking region is pretty much sat on an enormous load of chalk, so my water's.... Chalky? I guess?

I drink it all the time. Sometimes I have more than 4 litres a day. I only ever drink water, Milk, and 100% pure Fruit juice. I go through milk very quickly, and I rarely get juice, so water is just something always available.

Depends on where the water comes from. Even across just Colorado, there's a range of taste and 'texture' to the waters, depending on where they draw the source from. Some are very crisp, little taste at all, no smell, while others are faintly musty and have a bit of a slippery texture to them. Some are metallic, others, mildly earthy.

Slightly mineralized water is actually quite good, especially the water that draws up from my folks' well. It took some getting used to when I first started drinking it again after being in the metro area, it was a little 'thicker' than I expected from water, and before they upgraded the conditioning system there was a faint sulfurous smell to it that was mildly off-putting. Without that now, though, I find it a very tasty water. It also draws very cold, and is refreshing right out of the faucet.

The water here in town where I am now is not quite as good, and doesn't draw as cold as their water does. Without ice, it's only tolerable. Also, I filter it, now, because I can't get past the taste of the treatments they add to it. It's also a little slippery, and sticks around for a few seconds after you finish drinking it.

But, I do love cold water. Bottled waters are largely a sham, unless you're drinking something that's clearly indicated as from a private spring, you're simply drinking filtered tap water, anyway.
