Hats.
Using the entirely not made up science of psychometalinguistics, we have noted that "hat" is exactly one letter off the word "hate", that letter is also an e, the letter with the lowest Loreal-Brandovskiwicz number (equal to the inverse root squared frequency of the letter in "lorem ipsum", multiplied by 1). It's scientifically proven that hats cause violence. We need to ban them! Think of the Children!

Definitely (not) genetically modified wheat. 'Cause, y'know, wheat can cause mood swings & anger problems. Reminds me of this stupid doctor a few years ago who tried to tell me that I had anger management issues because of wheat. He wanted to put me on a wheatless diet, but... I missed my wheat. There just isn't a lot of stuff to eat that doesn't contain wheat.
1 - Post hoc ergo proctor hoc is not a form of scientific reasoning
2 - Time to ban the use of "War on ________" where ______ is not a country or collection of creatures, every single "War on noun" has been an abject failure, people are MORE terrified than before we started frothing about it, there's still plenty of drugs on the street, the only thing that's guaranteed is that a War on Violence will not stop violence
3 - If they're going to ban things that cause violence then maybe it's time to start with alcohol, I don't think we need any further study for that one, oh no, not the precious alcohol, they have lobbiests.
4 - Perhaps we should change language, legally only allow a specially made language to be spoken, remove all vocabulary for violence, after a couple of generations people will not be able to "Think" about violence as they won't have the lexicon to describe it.

I'd ban printing out bank account receipts when the amount is too close to 0, or negative. I always feel like hurting something.
