Poll: The Wii U: What games do you want to see for it?

I know I posted something very similar a couple of weeks back, but things have changed since then, haven't they? I'm not looking for anything specific - your answers can be flagship franchises or something that currently exists on another console or just your own ideas.

Flamers and siren emulators, please go elsewhere. There are plenty of other what did you think of the Wii U? threads, so if you haven't stopped by them yet, you still have a chance to offer your opinion on the comfort level of the controller based on a picture while ignoring the numerous reports by journos who've demo'd it saying that it's ergonomic.

I really want to see Starfox and F-Zero. I'm hoping that Battlefield 3 is confirmed, and that Sam Fischer and Ryu Hayabusa become permanent residents. Also, Mass Effect?

Beyond that, I want to see what they do with online and I want even more to see this become the system that brings your buddies back into your living room to play together.

I'll exclude Mario and Zelda from the polls because we all know plenty of people want to see them make an appearance and because they've been quite active in the past few years.

So far I havent specifically liked any of the games Nintendo has made (Its just a question of personal taste Im sure theyre good and all) so Id prefer to see some new things comming out that might be able to catch my interest.

As for games by other developers I woulnt mind more western RPGS since Im not too fond of JRPGS - but thats again just a question of personal taste =p

The title I'm looking forward to most is the new Smash Brothers. I'd also like to see a new Metroid game that returns to a more traditional format. The controller seems tailor made for games with labyrinthine caverns.

I want to see EVERYTHING on it.
This means that is can play nearly any game made for consuls right now and woudl like them to be able to and on top of hat play their games. Their online should be good the other two companies have been observed pretty well up to this point.

I fully agree with you on this. I can't wait until the new Super Smash Bros. game comes out.

Also the Metroid series does need a sequel to fusion, and it would be cool to navigate through the areas with the new controller.

When you say traditional, do you mean side-scrolling, or are you talking Prime?

While I don't think it would revolutionize strategy games, I'd love to see a title like Starcraft on this console. It would streamline multitasking on top of being more fun.

I meant side-scrolling, but I definitely wouldn't scoff at another title done in the style of Prime.

I would love to see a new F-Zero game. Preferably one that isn't ball-achingly hard. And another Metroid Prime wouldn't be to bad either.

A pokemon game like Colosseum or XD (not! battle revolution), hopefully Geist will come back aswell. and i would love for Bioshock Infinite to be released for it plus a guitar hero might be cool

Have fun waiting. They won't even start development on this until the team finished Kid Icarus. So SSB probably won't show for another 4 or 5 years.

I want a new Nintendo IP. I've played Zelda, Mario platformers, stuff like that. Maybe a new F-Zero or Starfox would be nice too.

What, you want more IPs from nitnedo ? Or you want more 3rd party titles which get the normal 3 platform to be now 4 for standard, great competitor enters to bring some freshnes to PS3/360 clusterfuck.
